The Henry Board of Trustees met at 7 o'clock on
Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Finance Office. President Gordon Van Sickle
called the meeting to order with Trustees Peggy Bastian and Don Larson present
along with Finance Officer, Judy Kos.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and were approved by motion of
Bastian and second of Larson. Motion by Larson and seconded by Bastian to allow
the following claims.

General Fund: Watertown Public Opinion, proc.
104.94; GS Sanitation, Dec. 900.00; SD State Treasurer, sales tax, 220.89;
Northwestern, city building, 117.93 and street lights, 586.13; Clark Doland
Concrete, 75.00; Foley Law Office, 4th qtr. 75.00; Russ' gas and propane,
69.72; Codington County Highway, snow removal, 912.00; blading, patching and
mowing, 1,160.26.
Water Fund: Sioux Pipe, water meters, 1,116.35; Clark Rural Water, December,
1,396.05 and Dept. of Revenue, water samples, 12.00.
Liquor Fund: Sodak Dist. 1,886.20; Johnson Brothers,
2,316.37; Carlson Brothers, 2,289.60 and Ellwein Brothers, 2,848.60.
Sewer Fund: K & P, inspection fee, 100.00; Northwestern, 67.76; One Call,
location, 1.90; Runnings, 37.99 and Dept. of Revenue, fees, 50.00.
Larson reported on an estimate he had received for
resealing the streets. He will continue to get estimates. Dates for Government
Days to be held at Pierre and the Annual Report workshop were announced. Van
Sickle reported that he is continuing to work with Codington County Emergency
Management on ice damage.
The February meeting will be held on February 11, 2006 at 8 a.m.
Motion by Larson and seconded by Bastian to adjourn. Motion carried.
The 2006 salary schedule is as follows: Trustees, $50.00 per meeting; Finance
Officer, $725.00 per month plus $25.00 per meeting; President of the Trustees,
$150.00 per year; Fire Chief, $100.00 per year plus $100.00 from each Township
that the Henry Fire Department serves, Sewer Maintenance worker, $200.00 per
month; city laborers, $8.50 per hour, Water Maintenance worker, $100.00 per
month and Community Emergency Management Director, $100.00 per month plus
$50.00 expense.
