Town of Henry
The Henry
Board of Trustees met on Monday, March 21, 2005 at the Finance Office as a
Board of Equalization. Present for the meeting were Trustees, Gordon Van
Sickle, and Don Larson, Finance Officer, Judy Kos and School Board member,
Myron Eidsness.
Darwin and
Gail Krueger met with the Board in regard to their property valuation. Their
property is OL 55-116-55 Henry OLS and Lot 2 Less S 30' Blk 11 Original Town of
Henry and has a present valuation of $65,659. The Kruegers compared their
property to neighboring valuations and requested a reduction of $55,000.00. The
Board agreed with the Kruegers and filed their requests as such.
Rick
Walford asked for a reduction in the valuation of his mobile home after
comparing it to a comparable home in Henry. His present valuation is $31,087
and does not include land. Walford asked for $21,000.00 as a consideration.
After making comparisons through out the town the Board set $23,778 as an
asking valuation.
The Board analyzed the books and noted
unlisted property and made property comparisons. Upon completing the books,
Larson moved for adjournment, seconded by Van Sickle. Motion carried
