A report on the Henry fire department's pork supper and street dance.

A crowd of nearly 1,000 attended the annual Henry Firemen's pork supper and street dance on Saturday evening. With near perfect weather conditions, the annual fund raiser for the fire department was considered a complete sucess.

The evening began with a pork loin supper and climaxed with a street dance with music provided by Randy Angermeier and his Soundwave crew.

Raffle tickets had been sold for several weeks on prizes that were drawn for later on in the evening.

Grand prize of a Benelli shot gun won by Mike Sayegh, Jr. of Bryant,
150 pounds of meat, Greg Pieschke, Watertown,
100 pounds of beef, Dave Dobias, Henry,
$50.00 savings bond, Ken Wartenbee, Henry,
$50.00 cash, donated by the Peterson and Heustess families of Henry, won by Keith Sour,
$20.00 won by Randy Holiday, Hayti,
gas donated by Rick's Standard won by Jim Gibson, Lake City
$20 gift certificate from 212 One Stop won by Sam Hartley, Clark.
