Danny and Bonita Sharp and Arlene Sharp attended the high school graduation of Arlene’s grandson and Danny’s nephew, Bobby Frauenberg in North Dakota on Sunday. Bobby is the son of Jim and Donna Frauenberg.

 

Terry and Judy Kos attended the High School graduation reception of their niece, Ashley DeCoteau, at LaBolt on Saturday afternoon.

 

Marilyn Reed of Watertown was a Sunday afternoon visitor at the Joe and Elsie Young home.

 

Donna Kittelson attended the Watertown Awards Assembly on Tuesday evening at the DD Miller auditorium in Watertown.

 

 John Heber of Redfield and Stephanie Pickrel of Watertown and Ron and Sharon Burchatz attended Graduation Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown on Sunday and the brunch following the services. Floyd and Donna Kittelson also attended the service and the brunch.

 

Lori and Bailey Hyland of Ramona were Saturday overnight gusts at the Lynn and Barb Hartley home.

 

Diane Eidsness attended Harrisburg High School graduation and the reception for her niece, Sarah on Saturday.

 

Vickie Burchatz and Cindy Wientjes of Watertown and Donna Kittelson attended the Friday morning Barack Obama Town Hall meeting in Watertown.

 

Judy Kos was a Friday evening supper guest at the Watertown home of her sister, Joanne Berglund. Joining the sisters was their brother, Donald Green of San Antonio, TX.

 

Family members attending the graduation ceremony and reception for Kelli Wiedebush, daughter of Randy and Carol Wiedebush  from Warner High School, included Bob Boehnke, Terry Boehnke and Jenna Hartley all of Watertown, Lori and Bailey Hyland of Ramona, Dave Boehnke of Clark, Arlen and Joan Boehnke and Barb Hartley of Henry. Joining them at the reception later were Lynn Hartley, and Adam and Laci Hartley and children of Henry.

 

Hayley and Travis Goodall spent Friday afternoon with their grandparents, Fain and Roxanne Geiger. In the evening, the Goodalls were supper guests of Geigers.

 

Wendell and Alice Bruns attended the graduation reception for Chris Sattler on Saturday.

 

Al, Gwen and Erin Benck and Lola Nelson attended the reception on Saturday at the home of Grant and Kimm Nelson in Watertown in honor of Kimm’s daughter, Chelsea Strohfus. Chelsea graduated from Henry High School on Saturday and plans to continue her studies this fall in the nursing program offered in Watertown.

 

Adam and Laci Hartley and family, Lynn and Barb Hartley of Henry, Jenna Hartley of Watertown, and Lori Hyland and Bailey of Ramona attended the graduation reception on Saturday for Webster graduate Josh Dale, son of Mike and Linda Dale.

 

Previous to attending several of the Henry High School graduation receptions, Ron and Peggy Bastian visited with Donnie Miller at the home of Joe and Dawn Dosch. Donnie is home on military leave.

 

Vickie and Jordon Burchatz and Donna Kittelson attended the graduation party held Saturday afternoon in Watertown for Aaron Thompson.

 

Sarah and Samantha Bruns of Watertown spent Sunday with their grandparents, Wendell and Alice Bruns.

 

Sunday evening supper guests at the home of Anna Hartley of Garden City were Liane Hartley of Jamestown, ND, Dory Nordstrom of the Twin Cities, Lori Hyland and Bailey of Ramona, Lynn and Barb Harley and Adam and Laci Hartley and family.

 

Joan and Steph Boehnke attended the graduation ceremony and several receptions in Clark on Sunday afternoon.

 

Saturday evening, Bonita Sharp attended the graduation reception for Steph Mack, daughter of Emil and Renee Mack of rural Watertown.

 

Terry Kos attended the district meeting of the Electrical Council at Clear Lake on Friday evening.

 

Steph Pickrel of Watertown and John Heber of Redfield and Ron and Sharon Burchatz attended graduation at Clark on Sunday to see Newt Schaack graduate. Later they were among those visiting at the Wade Schaack farm.

 

Monty and Marcia Montgomery attended the Henry School Graduation ceremony on Saturday.  Sarah Montgomery was one of the eighth grade graduates. Later they attended several of the graduation receptions.

 

 

Connie Wilson and Roxanne Geiger spent Tuesday in Sioux Falls. Following Connie’s doctor appointments, the ladies went shopping.

 

Calvin and Lois Schoepp attended graduation receptions at the Rodger Redmond and Steve Paulson farms.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger treated their grandchildren, Hayley and Travis Goodall to breakfast in Henry on Sunday.

 

David Ulschmid of Arlington visited at the Kelby Goodall home on Sunday afternoon.

 

Members of the 60+ met at the Community Center on Monday morning to finalize plans for the continuance of the senior meals. The dinners will be brought to Henry starting this Thursday. If anyone is interested in receiving a meal, contact Arlene Sharp or any other senior citizen for information. The menu is posted at the Community Center.

 

Gordon and Loydeen Van Sickle attended the graduation reception for Jane Seifel at the Banquet Hall in Watertown on Saturday.

 

Ron and Sharon Burchatz attended the Sunday evening Baccalaureate Service for the Watertown Senior class. Also attended the service were Rick and Vickie Burchatz and Floyd and Donna Kittelson.

 

Anita Abraham of rural Hazel, Phyllis Kittelson of Lake Kampeska and Donna Kittelson enjoyed lunch out on Monday.

 

Terry and Judy Kos were Saturday evening visitors at the Wilbur and Marlys Johnson home in Standburg.

 

Sunday, Monty, Marcia, Andrew and Sarah Montgomery of Henry were joined by Helen Van Sickle, Linda Page and Caitlin Peters all of Watertown and Roma Rawlins of Clark for dinner out in Watertown to celebrate Sarah graduating from eighth grade.

 

Mark and Arlet Soderlund have had a new pole building erected this past week to replace the building that burned a couple of weeks ago.

 

Also, completely erected now is a cell phone tower on the west edge of Henry. The tower, erected for Alltel is complete but the technical services that it will provide have not been completed.
