Fain
and Roxanne Geiger attended Tierra Rhody’s track meet in Clear Lake on Monday
afternoon. Tierra won first place in the
shot put.
Stephanie Pickrel
of Watertown, John Heber of Redfield and Ron and
Sharon Burchatz recently attended the wedding of Tyanna Burchatz and Adam Byrd at Portland, Oregon.
Tyanna is the daughter of Donald and Helen (Eidsness) Burchatz of Gresham,
Oregon. While in Oregon, Pete Burchatz of Boring,
Oregon took Ron, Stephanie and John
salmon fishing on the Columbia River, while the ladies enjoyed shopping and visiting at the Don and Pete Burchatz homes.
Ladies
representing, Two Twelve One Stop participated in the State Bowling Meet in Aberdeen this past
weekend.
Hayley and Travis Goodall spent Thursday
with their Grandmother, Roxanne Geiger.
Helen
Van Sickle of Watertown and Marcia and Sarah
Montgomery attended the photo taking and first dance at Great
Plains Lutheran School in Watertown
on Saturday evening. Andrew Montgomery and his date, Caitlin Peters were
participants.
Eleanor
Van Sickle of Watertown and Calvin and Lois Schoepp attended the presentation of “Private Lives” by the
Town Players in Watertown
on Sunday afternoon. Later they were joined by Mavone
Eidet of Watertown for
supper out in Watertown.
Judy
Kos accompanied Karen Henricks to Sioux Falls on Tuesday.
Kelby, Toni, Hayley and Travis Goodall were Sunday evening supper guests at the Fain and
Roxanne Geiger home.
Donna
Kittelson was a Friday visitor at the Bryon and Cindy Wientjes home in Watertown.
Arlen,
Joan and Stephanie Boehnke went to Brookings Saturday night to attend John
Boehner’s Athletic Training banquet. John will be among the SDSU graduates this
coming Saturday morning.
Erin
Bruns of Lake
Preston arrived Thursday
and spent the weekend at the home of her grandparents, Wendell and Alice Bruns.
Kelby and Toni Goodall, Fain and Roxanne
Geiger and Rick Walford attended the weather
awareness seminar at the Codington County Extension
Building in Watertown on Thursday evening. The seminar
was conducted by Jim Sutton, Codington County Director of Emergency Management
and an instructor from Aberdeen.
Terry
and Judy Kos were Saturday evening supper guests at the Brian and Kathy DeJong home in Watertown.
Lois
Schoepp attended the Grand March in DeSmet Saturday evening.
Participating in the march was Casey Miller, daughter of Tom and Karen
Miller and granddaughter of Calvin and Lois Schoepp.
Bonita
Sharp enjoyed coffee Monday morning with her mother, Betty Keyes in Clark on Monday morning.
Sunday,
Helen Van Sickle of Watertown,
Marcia and Andrew Montgomery and Caitlin Peters attended Church Services in
which Sarah Montgomery was confirmed. Following the services, they all enjoyed
dinner out in celebration of the confirmation. Other confirmands
were Sarah’s cousin, Julie Van Sickle and her friend, Chrissy
Bastian.
The
yearly general clean up will be held this Saturday in Henry. The dumpster will be located near the City Building.
