Lois Schoepp and Judy Kos were among those attending the Wednesday Lenten Day Services at First Methodist Church in Watertown.

 

Arlen Swedeen visited at the rural Watertown home of Ted and Lisa Lane on Thursday.

 

Diane Eidsness enjoyed supper out in Watertown at 2nd Street Station Thursday evening with her coworkers.

 

John and Stephanie Boehnke are spending Spring Break at their parents’ home.  On Sunday, Arlen, Joan and John treated Stephanie to a belated birthday dinner in Watertown.  They were joined by Terry and Ruth Boehnke.

 

Roxanne Geiger and Connie Wilson enjoyed lunch out together in Watertown on Tuesday.

 

Bryan Varilek and Cassandra Stern of Watertown were Saturday afternoon visitors at the Ron and Linda Stern home.

 

Jerry and Carol O’Neill and the Mark O’Neill family returned on Sunday to their homes after spending the past week in Ixtapa, Mexico.

 

Monday, Alice Bruns drove to the home of her sister, Ora Kent at Murdo. On her way home Wednesday she picked up her granddaughter, Erin Bruns at Lake Preston. Erin remained at the Bruns until Friday evening.

 

Terry and Judy Kos were Saturday dinner guests at the Bret and Karen Henricks home at rural Waverly.

 

Laura Eidsness flew to Florida on Thursday for a freshmen speech tournament. She and four others are representing Northern State University. Laura will return on Tuesday and spend the rest of her Spring Break with her parents, Myron and Diane Eidsness.

 

Joan Boehnke attended the monthly meeting of the Courier Classics 4-H Club Sunday evening.

 

Skylar and Cooper Stern of Watertown spent the weekend with their grandparents, Ron and Linda Stern.

 

Samantha and Sara Bruns of Watertown spent Friday afternoon at the Wendell Bruns home. They were joined for supper by their dad, Shannon Bruns.

 

Dave, Jackie and Jackson McNeil of Warner joined Floyd and Donna Kittelson and attended the Class AA tournament in Rapid City this past weekend. In addition to the tournament, the families enjoyed viewing Mount Rushmore.  Several of the other Burchatz and Kittelson families also attended the tournament.  The families encountered bad roads and blustery conditions on their way home.
