Cecelia Brownell and Bonita Sharp furnished cake and coffee to residents of Wookey’s Assistant Living on Saturday in celebration of Betty Keyes’ birthday.

 

Wes and Betty Holida of Vienna were Thursday evening visitors of Arlen Swedeen.

 

Sheri Alberts of Britton and Lori Page visited their mother, Muriel Larson on Monday and helped their mother celebrate her birthday.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger were Friday evening supper guests at the Kelby and Toni Goodall home.

 

Olivia Anne Fuller, infant daughter of Dave and Kim Fuller was baptized Sunday morning at Cornerstone Methodist Church in Watertown. Witnessing the baptism were Wayne and Eunice Olivier of Casper WY and Lee and Dorothy Fuller, grandparents of the infant. The families enjoyed dinner together following the services.

 

Jordan Rae Werner celebrated her first birthday with a party at the Community Center with friends and relatives.

 

Phyllis Kittelson, Watertown, Anita Abraham, Hazel and Donna Kittelson enjoyed lunch out in Watertown on Tuesday.

 

Carol O’Neill and Judy Kos attended the Women’s Heart Event at the Watertown Event Center on Sunday afternoon.  Keynote speaker was Donna Hartley of California a survivor of an airplane crash, cancer and heart surgery.

 

Friday evening marked the end of an era for the Henry High School Owls playing as the Owls on their home court. With the merging of the Henry athletic department with the Florence athletic department a new mascot along with colors and a school song will be chosen.

 

Joe, Nicole and Karli Sharp were Saturday evening supper guests at the Danny and Bonita Sharp home.

 

With Jordan Burchatz playing his last regular home basketball game in Watertown, Cheryl and Maggie Hovde, Vienna, Dave and Jackie McNeil and family and Mitch McNeil of Warner, Tom and Kathy Wookey, Clark, Doug and Shelly Root, Steph Pickrel, Rick and Vickie Burchatz and Kayla, Watertown, John Heber, Redfield and Sharon and Ron Burchatz and Floyd and Donna Kittelson all attended the game.

 

Joan Boehnke attended a baby shower for Jenni Crabtree’s son, Kooper Sunday afternoon in Bradley.

 

Our sympathy is extended to Alice Bruns on the death of her sister, Lona Johnson of Watertown.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger were Saturday afternoon visitors at the Glen and Connie Wilson home.

 

Rick and Vicky Burchatz and Kayla and friend, Lindsey Jennings, Watertown, Ron and Sharon Burchatz and Floyd and Donna Kittelson attended the Watertown Arrow/ Yankton Bucks basketball game at Yankton on Friday evening.

 

Arlen Swedeen was a Sunday visitor at the LeRay Swedeen home.

 

Jack Henning and Calvin Schoepp attended the Wild Game Supper at Cornerstone Methodist Church in Watertown on Sunday evening.  Meanwhile, Lois Schoepp enjoyed supper with Marilyn Henning at the Henning home.

 

Vince and Shirley Flemming of Florence were Sunday afternoon callers at the Dale and Ruth Bludorn home.

 

Betty Keyes and several of her Clark friends along with Joe, Nicole and Karli Sharp, Troy and Nicky Watson and girls, Danny and Bonita Sharp and CeCelia Brownell enjoyed supper out in Henry Saturday evening in celebration of Betty’s birthday.

 

Cindy Wientjes of Watertown and Donna Kittelson attended the Women’s Heart Event on Sunday afternoon at the Watertown Event Center.

 

Lois Schoepp was a Tuesday afternoon coffee guests of Dorothy Paulsen.  Steve Paulsen joined the ladies for coffee.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger enjoyed supper out in Henry on Saturday evening.
