Bruns called on his mother, Violet Winemiller at the Golden
Living Center
in Clark on Wednesday morning.
Roxanne
Geiger and Connie Wilson enjoyed dinner out in Watertown on Tuesday.
Emily
Bastian accompanied Peggy Bastian to Madison
on Friday where she played in the Dakota Wesleyan University Junior Varsity
basketball game. Emily later returned to her Henry home for the weekend.
Marcia
and Monty Montgomery attended the
Junior High Basketball tournament in Summit
on Saturday. Their daughter, Sarah was a participant and the girl’s team
received 2nd place. The Henry
boy’s team also participated and they came home with first place honors. In the evening Monty, Marcia and Sarah
Montgomery were joined by Andrew Montgomery, Caitlyn Dikoff,
Helen Van Sickle and Linda Page for supper out in Watertown.
Monday
evening, Floyd and Donna Kittelson and Rick and Vickie Burchatz
attended the Watertown Arrow and Sioux Falls Washington basketball game in Sioux Falls. On Friday evening they took in
the Watertown
and Huron game.
Arlen
and Joan Boehnke attended the men’s and women’s
basketball games at SDSU Saturday evening. Following the games, they treated John
Boehnke to supper out.
Members
of the Watertown Great
Plains Lutheran High School honors choir sang during services at St. Paul Lutheran Church
services Sunday morning. The ladies of the church served lunch following the
service.
Lois
Schoepp visited her sister, Lola Alexander at Wookey’s Assisted Living in Clark
on Thursday.
Fain
and Roxanne Geiger were Tuesday supper gusts at the home of Kelby
and Toni Goodall and family.
Alice
Bruns visited her sister, Lona
Johnson at Jenkins Home in Watertown
on Tuesday.
Bonita
Sharp enjoyed lunch out in Watertown Wednesday
with Ray and Marcia Hamner of Wheaton, MN.
Shannon
Bruns and daughter of Watertown came to the Wendell Bruns home on Sunday and watched the football game and did
some crafts.
Joan
Boehnke attended the January meeting of the Courier
Classics 4-H Club in Clark Sunday evening.
Kelby and Toni Goodall and Fain and Roxanne
Geiger attended the benefit for Tonda Nord in Watertown Saturday
evening.
Thursday
evening Vickie and Kayla Burchatz of Watertown and
Floyd and Donna Kittelson watched the Clark
girls play Hamlin in Hamlin. Stephanie Wookey plays
on the Clark basketball team.
The
Bastian family drove to Milbank on Saturday evening and watched the Milbank
Bulldogs defeat West Central.
Arlet Soderlund has returned home from the hospital following
angiogram surgery. Arlet expects to return to the
hospital in two weeks for additional surgery.
