Birth Announcement

baby girl, Erin
Jessica Benck was born on Friday, November 2, to
Al and Gwen Benck. Erin
weighed 8 lbs and 8 oz and was 20 inches long. Grandparents include Mike and
Lola Nelson, rural Henry and Lorraine Benck of
Watertown.
April
and Brynn Flemming of rural
Aurora spent
the weekend at the Tim and Lori Page home.
Lois
Schoepp called on Lola Alexander and Harold Nipe at Wookey’s Assistant Living
in Clark on Monday.
Roxanne
Geiger visited Sally Luvaas Tuesday afternoon.
Joan Boehnke was treated to supper out
in Henry for her birthday Friday night. Those helping here celebrate were Arlen
and Stephanie Boehnke, Adam and Laci
Hartley and family, Lynn Hartley and Doug and PJ Blue and family.
Wendell
and Alice Bruns
went to Watertown on Saturday and pickup up
Samantha Bruns and then went on to the Rec. Center
to watch Erin Bruns play volleyball with the Lake Preston
team against the Florence/Henry volleyball team.
Tim,
Lori and Austin Page enjoyed Sunday dinner with Lila Page at her Watertown home.
Roxanne
Geiger met Alyssa Rhody of Clear
Lake and Kelby
Goodall in Watertown
on Thursday and enjoyed lunch out.
Terry
and Judy Kos joined in the birthday party for Adam DeJong
Friday evening at his Watertown
home. Others helping to celebrating his
seventh birthday were Kurt and Ramona Kaiser and Gary and Sue DeJong of Clear
Lake and Bret, Karen,
John and Liz Henricks of rural Waverly.
Joe,
Nicole and Karli Sharp were Sunday evening supper
guests at the home of Danny and Bonita Sharp.
Floyd
and Donna Kittelson attended the final football games of the Watertown Arrows
this past week. Following the Saturday
evening game they were among those gathering at the Bryan and Cindy Wientjes
home for refreshments.
The
Burchatz family recently spent the weekend at the Rosebud Plaza in Gregory. The Gregory High School
was recently purchased by Rory Burchatz of Westminster, CA
and was remodeled and converted into a hunting lodge.
Ronnie
and Virgil Bastian spent the weekend at Eureka
pheasant hunting.
Calvin
and Lois Schoepp joined Eleanor Van Sickle for dinner
out in Watertown
on Sunday. Later they attended the Army concert at the Watertown Event
Center.
Stephanie
Boehnke spent the weekend at her parents’ home and
returned to USD Sunday afternoon.
Jerry
and Carol O’Neill returned Sunday afternoon from a bus trip to Branson, MO.
Fain
and Roxanne Geiger were Thursday evening visitors at the home of Kelby and Toni Goodall and
family.
Floyd
and Donna Kittelson called on Lester and Lois McGillivary
and Betty Keyes at Wookey’s Assistant Living in Clark on Wednesday afternoon.
Funeral
services were held Tuesday at the United
Methodist Church
in Clear Lake for Donald Davis. Donald was a pulpit supply for the Henry
United Methodist
Church until illness
forced him resign.
