Arlen and Joan Boehnke attended the wedding and reception for Johnny and Audrey Rider in Watertown Saturday evening.  Later they stopped by Gordy Van Sickle’s to wish him a happy birthday.

 

Dr. Ed and Ann Larson were Friday evening visitors at the Arlen Swedeen home.

 

Cokey Johnson visited her mother, Agnes Opdahl in Hayti Sunday afternoon.

 

Lori Hyland of Ramona and Carol and Kelli Wiedebush were Saturday overnight guests at the home of Lynn and Barb Hartley.

 

Nicole and Karli Sharp called on Danny and Bonita Sharp Sunday evening to wish them a Happy Grandparents Day.

 

Donna Kittelson attended Steph Wookey’s volleyball game in Clark on Tuesday evening.

 

Phyllis Anderson of Minneapolis and Lois Falkey of Homestead, FL spent a week at the home of their sister, Marie Hanson.

 

Dale McElroy of Sioux Falls spent Friday at the Don and Rose McElroy home.

 

Myron and Diane attended the Johnny Rider and Audrey Pazour wedding at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Watertown and the reception at Second Street Station Saturday afternoon.

 

Tuesday evening supper guests at the Arlen Swedeen home included  John and Jean Reineccius of Redfield, Ardis Swedeen, Lorraine Swedeen, Gloria Backman, Janet Sundvold, and Joanne Delaine all of Cambridge, MN, Dr. Ed and Ann Larson of Watertown, LeRay and Andrea Swedeen and family, Gail Eidsness and Lavern Reinhart all of Henry.

 

Joan Boehnke attended a bridal shower for Tami Schlekeway, bride-to-be of Andy Boehnke, Sunday afternoon in Henry.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger joined Earl, Alyssa and Tierra Rhody of Clear Lake, Jason and Carla Dahl and girls of Milbank and Jason and Julie Bartels and family of Bemis at Lake Pelican on Labor day where they enjoyed the day.

 

Floyd Kittelson accompanied Rick, Vickie and Kayla Burchatz and Sarah Henning to the Watertown Arrow’s football victory over the Brookings Bobcats in Watertown on Friday evening.

 

Monty and Marcia Montgomery were among those attending the Saturday evening birthday party for Gordy Van Sickle.

 

Matt and Missy Bastian of Milbank spent Saturday evening at the Ron and Peggy Bastian home.

 

Terry and Judy Kos spent the weekend in Omaha, NE and attended the wedding of their son, Tom Kos to Beth Ricklefs at the Gerald R. Ford Rose Garden in Omaha.

 

Barb Hartley, Laci Hartley, Abrie and Tate attended the wedding of Johnny Rider and Audrey Pazour in Watertown on Saturday.

 

Don and Rose McElroy attended Brenna McElroy’s first birthday party in Sioux Falls on Saturday at the Dave McElroy home.  Bob McElroy of Waterloo, IA was also in attendance.

 

Arlen Swedeen was a Sunday evening visitor at the LeRay Swedeen home.

 

Kelby and Toni Goodall were Saturday evening supper guests at the home of Fain and Roxanne Geiger.

 

The family of Floyd and Donna Kittelson commemorated anniversaries, birthdays and Christmas by taking a weekend bus trip to the Twin Cities where they enjoyed the Renaissance, Valley Fair and the Minnesota Viking’s game. Those enjoying the trip in addition to Floyd and Donna Kittelson were Rick and Vickie Burchatz and family and Bryan and Cindy Wientjes of Watertown, Colin Wientjes of Hilton,IA, Mike and Cheryl Hovde, Savannah and Zach, rural Vienna, Dave and Jackie McNeil, Warner, Tom and Kathy Wookey, Steph and Cody of Clark and Bridget Wookey of Mankato, MN.

 

Terry and Judy Kos attended funeral services for Esther Nelson Brugger in Strandburg on Thursday afternoon.

 

On Saturday several people enjoyed the Country Fair that is held annually at the Henry United Methodist church.  The program was presented by Jacki Meyer of Brandon, SD.

 

Don and Rose McElroy treated Marie Hanson to lunch in Watertown on Monday in observance of her birthday.
