Birth Announcement

 

A baby girl was born to Brett and April (Page) Flemming on August 23. She has been named Brynn Kaye and weighed 6’ and 6 oz and is 18 ¾ inches long.  Her grandparents are Tim and Lori Page of Henry and Burdette and Patty Flemming of rural Florence.

Monty and Ashley Geiger of Faulkton stopped by the Marrion Geiger home on Friday en route to Minneapolis to see the Friday evening and Saturday Minnesota Twin’s games.

 

Donna Kittelson attended the Clark volleyball game on Tuesday evening and enjoyed watching her granddaughter, Steph Wookey participate.

 

Terry and Judy Kos attended the Strandburg School Reunion in Milbank and in Strandburg on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Last Monday evening the following nieces and nephews of, now deceased, Henry residents, Bob and Lucille VanDelinder enjoyed supper out in Henry and later visiting at the Monty and Marcia Montgomery home, Steve and Julie Bivin of Oklahoma, Duane Koppmann, Wade Koppmann and his daughter, Chelsea, Karen Koppmann, Raymond Van Sickle, Helen Van Sickle, Linda Page, Sena Seifel, Bob, Jessica and Julie Van Sickle all of Watertown and Gordon and Loydeen Van Sickle. The Montgomery family joined the descendents for supper out before the relatives returned to the Montgomery home.

 

Calvin and Lois Schoepp attended the Saturday evening Grand Stand performance at the South Dakota State Fair.

 

Arlen, Joan and John Boehnke helped Stephanie move into her dorm room at USD on Sunday.  Stephanie is in Mickelson Hall – Room 323.  They enjoyed dinner out before returning John to Brookings and they returned to their Henry home.

 

Spencer Wientjes of Watertown spent Friday with his grandmother, Donna Kittelson.

 

Tom Page has returned to his Brookings home after being hospitalized with the injuries received in the horse riding incident. He has both wrists in casts and can only be in a lying or standing position because of the broken pelvic bone.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger were Saturday evening visitors at the Marrion Geiger home. Kelby and Toni Goodall also visited at the Geiger home.

 

Lois Schoepp visited her sister, Lola Alexander at Wookey’s Assistant Living in Clark on Sunday.

 

Sunday, Myron, Dianne and Kailey Eidsness assisted Laura Eidsness in her move to Aberdeen where she has enrolled at Northern State University.

 

Tim and Lori Page were among those that assisted at the Lila Page home in Watertown on Saturday.

 

Floyd Kittelson accompanied Rick, Vickie and Kayla Burchatz to Brandon on Friday evening to watch the Watertown Arrows play Brandon Valley.

 

Ron and Peggy Bastian attended the South Dakota State Fair on Saturday. The Dakota Wesleyan girl’s basketball team along with their fathers and brothers worked as stage hands during the Fair as a fund raising project. Ronnie and Emily worked on Saturday during the Clay Walker and Neal McCoy performance.

 

Monday dinner guests at the Terry Kos home were Karen, John and Liz Henricks, Kathy, Connor, Kayla and Adam DeJong of Watertown and Donald and Simone Green of San Antonio, TX

 

Saturday, Sharon Burchatz and Sandra Schaack enjoyed a picnic together and riding their horses on the Trail by Lake Pelican .

 

In the evening they attended the 15th birthday party for Dillon Root at the Doug and Shelly Root residence near Watertown .

 

John Harber of Redfield and Stephanie Pickrel were Sunday evening supper guests at the Ron and Sharon Burchatz residence.

 

Rick, Vickie and Kayla Burchatz and a friend, Lorin Jutting of Watertown were Monday visitors at the Ron Burchatz home. Later in the afternoon, Stephanie Pickrel called at her parent’s home.

 

Luverne Huber was a recent caller at the Joe and Elsie Young home.

 

Parker and Sydney Young were Thursday evening overnight guests with great grand parents, Joe and Elsie Young.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger visited Chad Purintun at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown on Saturday afternoon.

 

Lisa Bludorn of Mitchell and Emma Sattler of Watertown spent the weekend at the Dale and Ruth Bludorn home.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger joined Kelby and Toni Goodall and family for a grill out on Sunday evening.
