Brian and Kathy DeJong were last Monday evening supper guests at the Terry Kos home.
Connor returned home with them after spending overnight with his grandparents.
Joan and Stephanie Boehnke worked at the Little Britches Rodeo lunch stand
Saturday morning in Clark.
James Straatmeyer of Lennox was
a Wednesday evening supper guest at the Terry Kos home.
Calvin and Lois Schoepp attended a surprise birthday party on Saturday
afternoon for Doris Coyle in Watertown.
Floyd and Donna
Kittelson were among those enjoying Memorial Day dinner at the Rick and Vickie Burchatz home at Lake
Pelican.
David Winnett of Mankato, MN and Alec Heustess of Watertown are spending
some time at the home of their grandparents, Dale and Teresa Peterson.
Dave, Becky, Mara
and Brenna McElroy of Sioux Falls
spent the weekend at the Don and Rose McElroy home. They all enjoyed supper out in Henry Saturday
night.
John Boehnke spent the weekend at the home of his parents.
Vickie Burchatz and Donna Kittelson visited Donna’s sister, Mr.
and Mrs. Jerry Ramsbacker at Sanborn,,
MN after attending a funeral at Lamberton, MN.
Several Henry postal
customers were present on Friday for the swearing in of Patricia Seefeldt as the postmaster of the Henry post office.
Refreshments were served following Patricia’s taking the oath of office.
Mark and Donna Prouty and family of Vienna
and Paul Johnson and a friend were Saturday evening visitors at the Ron and
Peggy Bastian home.
Dale and Teresa Peterson took the following children to Lake Pelican
fishing on Sunday, David Winnett, Alec Heustess, Issabelle Winnett and Josh O’Neill. Shaina Winnett accompanied her parents to assist with the
children. Although no fish were caught everyone had a good time.
Roxanne Geiger
called on LeDene Geiger Thursday morning. In the
afternoon, Roxanne visited Sally Luvaas.
Kayla, Connor and Adam DeJong
spent the weekend at the home of their grandparents, Terry and Judy Kos. Brian and Kathy DeJong
spent the weekend in the Deadwood area where Kathy participated in the
Deadwood-Mickelson Trail Marathon. Kathy ran the half marathon which is a
thirteen mile run. She stated that by
finishing the trail run she considered herself a winner. Deadwood had received three inches of rain on
Friday evening so the trail was exceptionally muddy to run. There were over 1400 runners in the half
marathon.
Adam and Laci Hartley and family and Barb Hartley attended the wedding of Alyssa Anderson
and Corey Mushitz in Watertown Saturday evening.
RJ George Burchatz, son of Ronald George and Jennifer Burchatz graduated from Brookings High School
last Sunday. Sharon Burchatz and Alma Gulbraa were in attendance at the Swiftel Center.

Wientjes and family of Clark were Saturday
overnight guests at the Floyd Kittelson home.
Carol O’Neill, Joan Warnock and Judy Kos were Saturday morning
coffee guests at the Doris Coyle home in Watertown
and helped her celebrate her birthday.
A baby girl, Justyce Rene’ was born on Thursday, May 31, to Kristi Stormo and Jon Brimus. She
weighed 5 pounds and 12 ounces and was 18 inches long. Her grandparents include
Jim Brimus of Watertown
and Greg and Sharon Stormo of Clark.

Issabelle Winnett and Alec Heustess called on Lynore Calder
on Monday.
Fain and Roxanne
Geiger enjoyed supper out in Henry on Saturday evening.
Kayla Parson and Eric Bastian of Spearfish spent
the weekend at the Ron Bastian home.
Robert and Phyllis
Anderson of Minneapolis
spent Memorial Day weekend at the home of Marie Hanson. On Monday they all attended the Thompson
family reunion at Alice’s Café in Stockholm.
Kathy McMillan has sold her home in Henry and has moved to
Brookings. Christine Moshier
of Watertown
has purchased Kathy’s home and is preparing to move in shortly.
