Correction from last week news. Roger and Bonnie Jankord and girls enjoyed Easter dinner with Roger’s mother, Ethyl Zirbes in Castlewood.

 

Easter dinner guests at the Ron and Sharon Burchatz home included, Richard, Vickie, Jordan and Kayla Burchatz, Shelly Root and her children and grandchildren, Dean,  Stacy, and Chreanna Plunkett, Dominic, Reva and Dayne Plunkett, and Dillon Root, Stephanie Pickrel and her son, Tyler, Jen and Tanner Pickrel, and Ross Burchatz and his son, Brandon. Rory, Roselyn, Terry, Brok and Skylar Burchatz called from Westminster, CA to wish their parents and other family members a Blessed Easter. The Burchatz also received an Easter greeting call from Jim and Faye Schaack.

 

Terry and Judy Kos attended the South Dakota Electrical Council Convention in Aberdeen on Friday.

 

Cokey Johnson attended the Ice Show in Watertown on Sunday in which her granddaughters, Erin and Desi Briggs participated.

 

Muriel Larson accompanied Tim and Lori Page to Langford on Friday evening to watch the presentation of “ Bye Bye Birdie” in which Muriel’s grandson and Lori’s nephew, Brandon Alberts, son of  Leonard and Sheri Alberts,  had a leading musical part.

 

Several Henry people attended the benefit held for Darwin Krueger in Watertown on Saturday evening.

 

Joan Boehnke attended the Taste of Home Cooking School this past week in Watertown with Luanne Warren and Tami Peters of Clark.

 

Kelby and Toni Goodall and family and Fain and Roxanne Geiger enjoyed supper out in Henry on Thursday evening.

 

Diane Eidsness and Laura went to Northern State College in Aberdeen on Saturday to register Laura for fall classes. Darlene Audus of Clark accompanied them and visited her sister, Delores Hales.

 

Arlen Swedeen was a Saturday evening supper guest of Bill Pickles and Deanna Martwick.

 

Lisa Purintun and Lynn Geiger took Marrion Geiger to the acute care unit of the VA Hospital in Sioux Falls on Saturday where he remained for tests.  On Sunday, LeDene Geiger, Fain and Roxanne Geiger and Kelby and Toni Goodall were down to see him. Even though he is feeling better, the family does not know when he will be released.

 

Barb and Jenna Hartley attended a bridal shower for Becky Alexander in Garden City Sunday afternoon. 

 

Cokey Johnson was among the large crowd that attended the 100th birthday party for Helen Rawlins in Watertown on Saturday.

 

Danny and Bonita Sharp were Sunday evening supper guests at Joe and Karli Sharp home in Henry.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger visited with Marrion and LeDene Geiger Friday evening.

 

Tim, Lori and Austin Page attended the 50th birthday celebration for Tom Page in Brookings on Sunday.

 

A large crowd attended the 70th birthday celebration for Floyd Kittelson on Sunday at St. Henry’s Catholic Church. His five daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren along with Tom Cypher presented a very up lifting program.

 

Renee and Katie O’Neill and Peggy Bastian and Emily returned to their homes on Sunday after attending the Kenny Chesney concert in Fargo on Saturday evening.

 

Morris and Eleanor Van Sickle and Jack and Marilyn Henning of Watertown and Terry and Judy Kos were Sunday evening visitors and luncheon guests at the Calvin and Lois Schoepp home.

 

Hayley and Travis Goodall spent Sunday with their aunt and uncle, Earl and Alyssa Rhody and Tierra at Clear Lake while their parents, Kelby and Toni Goodall went on to Sioux Falls.

 

Kayla Burchatz was a Thursday overnight guest at the home of her grandparents, Floyd and Donna Kittelson.

 

Visitors this past week at the Joe and Elsie Young home were Lester Young and David Young of Minneapolis, Rick Hartley, Travis and Haylie Young and Marilyn Reed of Watertown and Lois Jean Lian of Garden City.

 

Bill Pickles and Deanna Martwick were Sunday morning breakfast guests of Arlen Swedeen.  Later Arlen visited at the LeRay Swedeen home.

 

Cooper and Skylar Stern of Watertown were Saturday overnight guests at the Ron and Linda Stern home.
