Terry and Judy Kos attended the District meeting of the South Dakota Municipal League in New Effington on Tuesday evening.

 

Hayley and Travis Goodall spent Wednesday and Saturday with their Grandmother, Roxanne Geiger.

 

Boyd Joens and Arlen Swedeen have returned to their homes following hospital stays.

 

Alice Bruns returned her granddaughter, Amber Bruns to Mitchell on Monday. She later drove on to Murdo to visit her sister, Ora Kent.  On Tuesday the ladies went into Pierre for shopping and lunch out before Alice returned to her Henry home.

 

Tierra Rhody of Clear Lake was a Saturday overnight guest at the home of her grandparents, Fain and Roxanne Geiger.

 

Last Saturday, Ken and Sally Luvaas drove to Brookings and spent the afternoon and enjoyed supper with Mark, Jessica, Madelynn and Megan Luvaas and Russell Luvaas of Lennox.

 

Arlen Swedeen was a Saturday evening supper guest of Bill Pickles.

 

Lois Schoepp was a Tuesday afternoon coffee guest at the Joan Warnock home.

 

Last Monday evening supper guests at the home of Anna Hartley, rural Garden City, were Jeff Hartley of Stanfield, AZ, Randy Hartley and Jenna Hartley of Watertown, Lynn and Barb Hartley and Adam and Laci Hartley and family of Henry.

 

Emily Bastian, a student at DWU in Mitchell, spent the weekend with her parents, Ron and Peggy Bastian.

 

Barb Severin of Custer visited this past week at the Marie Hanson home.  On Thursday evening Chris Severin of Watertown was an additional guests and they all enjoyed Chris’ birthday supper at Marie’s house.

 

Terry and Judy Kos attended the Hee-Haw Show in South Shore on Saturday evening.

 

Myron, Diane Eidsness and Kailey attended Henry’s Grand March on Saturday evening. Laura Eidsness was escorted by her father, Myron Eidsness.

 

Harlan and Mary Bruns of Bruce, SD were Saturday visitors at the Wendell and Alice Bruns home. They accompanied Wendell Bruns to Clark to visit their mother, Violet Winemiller. They later were supper guests at the Wendell Bruns home in Henry.

 

 On Sunday, Earl, Alyssa and Tierra Rhody of Clear Lake, Fain and Roxanne Geiger and Kelby and Toni Geiger and family celebrated an early Easter with Louis and Mardella Gortmaker at Miller.

 

Hunter and Spenser Wientjes of Clark were Wednesday afternoon and supper guests at the Floyd and Donna Kittelson home.

 

Linda Page and Helen Van Sickle of Watertown and Marcia Montgomery were Thursday afternoon tea guests of Joan Warnock. In the evening, Helen Van Sickle, Linda Page and Monty, Marcia and Sarah Montgomery enjoyed supper out in Henry.

 

Arlen and Joan Boehnke enjoyed supper out in Henry following the watching of the Grand March in Henry on Saturday evening.

 

Floyd and Donna Kittelson attended the Interstate Basketball tournament in Watertown this past weekend.  A granddaughter, Savanna Hovde of rural Vienna participated in the event.

 

Ken and Sally Luvaas attended last Sunday services at Crocker Lutheran Church and attended the Men in Mission pancake supper in the evening.

 

Jack and Marilyn Henning of Watertown and Terry and Judy Kos were Sunday evening supper guests at the Calvin and Lois Schoepp home.

 

Aburie Hartley celebrated her 2nd birthday on Sunday with a dinner hosted by her parents, Adam and Laci Hartley, Brodie and Tate.  Guests were George and Lavonne Selchert of South Shore, Bob Boehnke, Bonnie Redlin, Chad and Amy Redlin and girls and Jenna Hartley of Watertown, Rick and Lori Hyland of Ramona, Wade Redlin of Lake Preston, Savannah Wieck of Brookings, Lynn and Barb Hartley and Arlen , Joan and Stephanie Boehnke.

 

Hunter Wientjes of Clark was a Saturday overnight guest at the Floyd Kittelson home.  Donna Kittelson returned him to his Clark home late Sunday afternoon.

 

Jack and Marilyn Henning accompanied Terry and Judy Kos to South Shore on Saturday evening to attend the annual Hee-Haw Show at the South Shore gymnasium.

 

Cheri Jans was a recent luncheon guest of Joan Warnock.

 

Wesley and Betty Holida of Naples were Sunday night visitors of Arlen Swedeen.

 

On Saturday Sena Seifel and Tyler Pederson of Watertown attended the Prom Grand March with Monty, Marcia and Sarah Montgomery. They were joined by Linda, Nikki and Britney Page of Watertown. Andrew Montgomery was one of the participants. Following the Grand March they all enjoyed eating out in Henry.

 

Following church services on Sunday, the Henry Methodist enjoyed a potluck dinner at the Henry Community Center. The location of the dinner was changed due to the wetness of the Methodist church basement.

 

Irene Redmond enjoyed watching her grandson, Jon Redmond march in the Grand March on Saturday evening at the Henry gymnasium.

 

This past week the following folks enjoyed a visit with Joe and Elsie Young, Travis and Jody Young and family, Gary and Kathy Young, Lois Grygiel, Marilyn Reed and Bernard Pesall and Don McClung all of Watertown, Virgil Bastian, Raymond Biberdorf and Luverne Huber all of Henry and Jack and Joan Kays. Joe had a throat and swallow testing on Monday and the swallow shows somewhat of an improvement which will allow Joe to take small swallows of water.  This is the first intake that Joe has been able to receive.

 

Ashley Bevers of Watertown was a Saturday afternoon visitor at the Ron and Peggy Bastian home.  Ashley is a student at Watertown Vo-Tec and will later transfer to Mitchell Vo-Tec.

 

Cheri Jans attended a baby shower for Nora Terhark, daughter of Jared and Angela Terhark of Milbank in Carpenter Sunday afternoon.
