Henry News – February 26, 2007
On
Thursday, Ken and Sally Luvaas met their son, Mark in Brookings and Sally
returned to Lennox with Mark. Sally spent
Friday with her grandchildren while their mother attended EMT recertification
classes in Sioux Falls.
Ken drove to Lennox on Friday and he and Sally
returned to their Henry home that evening. The Luvaas’ spoke to their son, John
on Saturday and he reported that they had received 10 inches of snow overnight
in Mequon, WI and were expecting another 12 to 17
inches Saturday night.
Travis
and Hayley Goodall spent Monday with their grandmother, Roxanne Geiger.
Donna
Kittelson was a Monday visitor at the Bryan and Cindy Wientjes home in Clark.
Alice Bruns was a recent coffee guest
of Joan Warnock.
Emily
Bastian of Mitchell spent the weekend with her parents, Ron and Peggy Bastian.
Erin
Bruns of Lake Preston spent the weekend with her
grandparents, Wendell and Alice Bruns.
Sunday
Dale and Teresa Peterson visited
Teresa Heustess at Prairie
Lakes Hospital
following the Saturday birth of her daughter, Jordan Rae Werner. Parents or
little Jordan are Teresa Heustess and Jordan Werner and grandparents are Arthur
and Dorinda Heustess of Henry and Kris Johnson and Charles Werner of Watertown.
Terry
and Judy Kos attended the Watertown Schools String Festival on Thursday
evening. Their granddaughter, Kayla plays violin in the orchestra.
Lois
Schoepp called on Doris Coyle Friday afternoon at her Watertown apartment.
Kelby
and Toni Goodall and Fain and Roxanne Geiger met Steve and Laura Kennedy of Watertown for supper out in Watertown on Friday evening.
Donna
Kittelson treated Jean Strohfus of Watertown
to supper on Thursday evening in celebration of Jean’s birthday.
Wendell
Bruns visited his mother, Violet Winemiller at Wookey’s Assisted Living in Clark on Friday.
Hayley
and Travis Goodall spent the weekend with their grandparents, Kim and Deb
Jorgenson in Watertown
this past weekend.
Terry
and Judy Kos were Saturday dinner guests at the Bret
and Karen Henricks
home at rural Waverly.
Amy
Pierce and Clay Bastian of the Twin Cities spent Friday evening at the Ron and
Peggy Bastian home.
Dale
and Teresa Peterson visited Charlie,
Alec and Nikki Heustess in Watertown
on Sunday.
Lois
Schoepp called on Joan Warnock
Saturday afternoon.
Floyd
and Donna Kittelson attended the Watertown
Arrow/ Yankton basketball game in Watertown
on Friday evening.
On
Tuesday Teresa Peterson and Lynore
Calder visited Georgia Heustess at Prairie
Lake Hospital
following her surgery. Georgia was
able to return to her Henry home on Saturday.
Jerry
and Carol O’Neill returned to their Henry home on Monday after spending two
weeks at Sun Lake, AZ visiting with Jim and Donna O’Neill.
