Alice
Bruns spent Thursday through Saturday visiting her
sister, Ora Kent in Murdo, SD.
On the way home Alice
stopped in Mitchell to visit her granddaughter, Amber Bruns.
Wednesday
evening, Kathy McMillan hosted the
February meeting of the Henry United Methodist Women at the church. The ladies
discussed up coming events and set March 14th as the next meeting
date with Alice Bruns
hosting the meeting at her home.
Floyd
and Donna Kittelson attended the Clark/Warner game on Monday evening at Clark.
Debra
and Josh LeTourneau spent this past week in Minneapolis on personal
business and visiting. The Letourneau’s enjoyed spending the week at the home of
Deb’s sister, Susan Parsons in Stillwater. They also visited a brother, Pat King,
another brother, Mike Pierce and Deb’s niece Elly LeTourneau. During the week they visited and went out to
eat with Deb’s father-in-law Jim LeTourneau and his
wife, Rose.
Fain
and Roxanne Geiger were Tuesday evening supper guests at the Kelby and Toni Goodall home.
Nicky
Watson and girls spent several days at the Danny and Bonita Sharp home while
Troy Watson was out of town.
Cokey Johnson accompanied Jennifer Briggs to Brandon Valley
on Saturday where they attended the “Cheer” competition. Erin Briggs is a
member of a Watertown
team.
Thursday
evening, Floyd and Donna Kittelson watched their grandson, Cody Wookey play basketball for the Clark 6th grade
team against a Groton
team. Later in the evening they watched
their granddaughter, Steph Wookey
play JV ball for Clark.
Mark
Soderlund would like the Henry residents to know that
his wife, Arlet will be undergoing surgery on
Thursday to try and open her carteroid artery on the
right side of her neck. He would like everyone’s thoughts and prayers.
Kayla, Connor and Adam DeJong of Watertown
were Saturday evening overnight guests at the home of their grandparents, Terry
and Judy Kos.
Saturday,
Cheryl and Maggie Hovde of rural Vienna, Cindy Wientjes and boys of Clark, and
Donna Kittelson were luncheon guests at the Dave and Jackie McNeil home at
Warner. Later in the afternoon they
attended a 3rd grade basketball game in Aberdeen in which Dawson McNeil played for
Warner. Donna treated the families out
to supper following the afternoon activities.
Cecelia
Brownell and Bonita Sharp visited Betty Keyes in Clark on Saturday and enjoyed
lunch out with her in Clark.
Arlen
Swedeen was a Sunday dinner guest at the Bill Pickles
home.
Erin
Bruns of Lake
Preston spent the weekend
at the home of her grandparents, Wendell and Alice Bruns.
Don
and Rose McElroy spent Saturday at
the Dave and Becky McElroy home in Sioux
Falls where they enjoyed playing with the
grandchildren, Mara and Brenna.
Judy
Kos visited Doris Coyle at her Watertown
apartment on Wednesday afternoon.
John,
Chelsey and Connor Wiik of
Watertown, Carla Herr, Aberdeen, Linda and
Colette Owen, Nancy
and Marlin Maynard, Gary Biberdorf and Myrna Brenden visited at
the Raymond Biberdorf home on Sunday afternoon to
help him celebrate his 89th birthday.
Hayley and Travis Goodall spent Thursday
with their grandmother, Roxanne Geiger.
Cokey Johnson attended the Herberger’s
Christmas party on Saturday evening in Watertown.
Joe,
Nicole and Karli Sharp were Sunday evening supper
guests at the Danny and Bonita Sharp home.
The
Henry Girl’s basketball team spent Saturday night in Mitchell and attended the Dakota Wesleyan
University basketball
games on Sunday.
Visitors
of Joe and Elsie Young this past week were Jerry Raasch
of Castlewood, Orlyn Jameson, Kathy Young, Roger
Young, Travis Young and family, Lois Grygiel and Luverne Erickson all of Watertown, Lucille Blashill, daughter and son-in-law of Garden City, Marty Lantgen of rural Bradley and Wayne Blashill.

Ricklefs and Tom Kos
of Omaha, NE
and Donald and Simone Green of San Antonio, TX arrived at the Terry Kos
home on Monday to attend funeral services in South
Shore for their brother-in-law and
uncle, John Berglund of South
Shore.
Alyssa
Rhody of Clear
Lake and Roxanne Geiger spent Tuesday
with Roxanne’s father, Louis Gortmaker in Watertown.
