The Henry United Methodist Women met on Wednesday evening at the home of Diane Kludt. The February meeting will be held at the church with Kathy McMillan as hostess.

 

Paul Myrick of Brandon was a Wednesday overnight guest at the Terry Kos home.

 

Alyssa Rhody of Clear Lake, and Toni Goodall, Hayley and Travis were Tuesday visitors of Roxanne Geiger.

 

Lois Schoepp enjoyed coffee with Dorothy Miller at Willow Lake on Wednesday.

 

Joe Young, who is recuperating at his Henry home had several visitors this past week including Dick Heyduk, Waverly, Bernie Pitman, rural Hazel, Orlin Jameson, Wallace, Lois Lien, Garden City, Gary Young and Don McClung, Watertown, Wayne Blashill, Roger Young, Raymond Biberdorf and Harry Weber, rural Henry and Arlen Swedeen.

 

Joan and Stephanie Boehnke attended the benefit supper and auction held for Jenni Crabtree in Bradley Saturday evening.  Jenni lost all her belongings in a recent house fire.

 

Sunday morning visitors at the Fain and Roxanne Geiger home were Earl, Alyssa and Tierra Rhody of Clear Lake.

 

Terry and Judy Kos, along with Bret, Karen, John and Liz Henricks, rural Waverly were Sunday dinner guests at the Brian and Kathy DeJong home in Watertown.  The families celebrated Karen’s birthday.

 

Donna Kittelson attended the Clark/Arlington girl’s basketball game on Monday evening and watched her granddaughter, Stephanie Wookey play ball.

 

Lois Schoepp called on Joan Warnock Saturday evening.

 

Stephanie Pickrel of Watertown accompanied Ronald and Sharon Burchatz to Aberdeen on Saturday evening to watch the Burchatzgrandson, Jordon Burchatz play basketball for the Watertown Arrows. It was not only Jordon’s seventeenth birthday but a win for the Arrows.

 

Irene Redmond attended the conference tournament in Wilmot Saturday and watched her grandson, Jon Redmond play basketball.

 

Gilbert and Joan Kittelson and Floyd Kittelson attended the Watertown Arrow’s boy’s basketball game on Tuesday evening.

 

Steven and Madison Montgomery of Florida arrived at the Monty and Marcia Montgomery home on Saturday evening. Even though they are not acclimated to South Dakota January weather, they are enjoying the ice fishing and seeing the snow.

 

Glenn and Roxy Goodall, Angela and Mackenzie of Aberdeen were Saturday overnight guests at the Kelby and Toni Goodall home.

 

Eric Bastian returned to Black Hills State College in Spearfish after spending his Christmas vacation at the home of his parents, Ron and Peggy Bastian.

 

Calvin and Lois Schoepp took dinner to the Morris and Eleanor Van Sickle home on Sunday.  Eleanor recently returned home after undergoing knee replacement surgery in Watertown.

 

Maggie Hovde of rural Vienna spent Tuesday through Friday at the Floyd and Donna Kittelson home. On Friday evening Maggie went to the Rick and Vicky Burchatz home at Lake Pelican and stayed until Sunday when she returned to the Floyd Kittelson home.

 

Travis Allen Goodall, son of Kelby and Toni Goodall was baptized Sunday morning at the Henry Methodist Church with Rae Speiser officiating. Travis’ sponsors were Jason and Julie Bartels of Bemis and Earl and Alyssa Rhody of Clear Lake. Lunch was served at the Goodall home following the service with Earl, Alyssa and Tierra Rhody of Clear Lake, Jason and Julie Bartels and family of Bemis, Glenn and Roxy Goodall, Mackenzie and Angela of Aberdeen, Kim and Deb Jorgenson of Watertown, Fain and Roxanne Geiger, LeDene Geiger and Al Benck attending.

 

Carol O’Neill called on Doris Coyle at her Watertown apartment on Saturday afternoon.

 

Floyd Kittelson accompanied Rick, Vicky and Kayla Burchatz and Maggie Hovde to the Warner on Saturday evening where they enjoyed supper at the Dave and Jackie McNeil home. Following supper, Jackie and Dawson McNeill accompanied them to the Aberdeen Central and Watertown Arrow boy’s basketball game.

 

Josh, Chellsy, Cayden and Braydon Craig spent Sunday afternoon at the Ron Burchatz farm where following supper, they enjoyed opening their Christmas presents. Stephanie Pickrel of Watertown joined the family for supper.

 

Hunter Wookey of Clark, Maggie Hovde, rural Vienna and Vicki Burchatz of Lake Pelican were Monday morning visitors and luncheon guests of Donna Kittelson.

 

Monty and Marcia Montgomery and their house guests, Steven and Madison Montgomery attended the basketball game at Wilmot on Saturday and later enjoyed supper in Henry. They were joined for supper by Gordon and Loydeen Van Sickle.
