Thanksgiving Day dinner guests at the Jerry and Carol O’Neill home were Mike O’Neill, Angie and Krista of Clark, Jason and Kylie Steen and girls of Watertown,  Troy and Lisa  Werdel of Sioux Falls and Mark and Renee O’Neill and family of Henry.

 

Thanksgiving Day guests at the Randy and Carol Wiedebush family home near Mansfield were Bob and Bonnie Boehnke and Terry and Ruth Boehnke of Watertown, Dave and Annette Boehnke and girls of Clark, Mike McCue of Colorado Springs, CO, Anna Hartley of Garden City, Lori Hyland of Ramona, Lynn, Barb and Jenna Hartley, Adam and Laci Hartley and family and Arlen and Joan Boehnke and family of Henry.

 

Deb Jorgenson of Watertown and Fain Geiger were Thanksgiving dinner guests at the Kelby Goodall home.

 

Myrna Brenden attended the Snow Queen contest at Florence on Saturday evening. Her granddaughter, Allison Grygiel participated in the Little Miss contest.

 

Relatives gathering at the Monty and Marcia Montgomery home for Thanksgiving Day dinner were Helen Van Sickle, Linda Page, Todd Page and Craig, Nicki and Brittny, Bob Van Sickle, Jess and Julie all of Watertown, a friend of Bob’s, Cindy and two daughters of Brookings, Tim and Lisa Zandt and Sever and Lexy of Renner, Mary Dikoff and Ashlee and Caitlyn of Mitchell.  Later in the afternoon the families were joined by Sena Seifel and Bailey Van Sickle of Watertown, Gordon and Loydeen Van Sickle, Mike and Shauna Lane, Kory, Macey and CaLeigh of Henry.

 

John Boehnke spent the long Thanksgiving weekend at his rural Henry home, returning to Brookings on Saturday.

 

Thanksgiving Day dinner guests at the Ron and Peggy Bastian home were Clay Bastian, Plymouth, MN, Eric Bastian, Spearfish, Jason Jenkins, TN,   Emily Bastian, Mitchell, Kathy Frey and family, Watertown and Melissa Rawlins and Virgil Bastian. Evening callers were Matt and Missy Bastian of Milbank and Shaun and Lynn Bastian of Watertown.

 

Tom Kos and Beth Ricalefs of Omaha, NE arrived at the Terry and Judy Kos home on Wednesday evening and returned to their homes on Sunday.

 

Myron and Diane Eidsness and girls were Thanksgiving dinner guests of Jeff and Becky Barthel of Watertown.

 

Kelby, Toni and Hayley were Thanksgiving supper guests at the Fain and Roxanne Geiger home.

 

Maury and Shannon Baxter and Sean of Sioux Falls were Thursday dinner guests of Joan Warnock.

 

Ashley Bruns of Lake Norden arrived at the home of his parents on Wednesday and spent the long Thanksgiving weekend.  Additional dinner guests on Thanksgiving were Shannon, Donna, Sammi and Sarah Bruns of Watertown.

 

Joan Boehnke attended the monthly meeting of Clark County 4-H Leaders Monday evening in Clark, and her extension club meeting afterwards.

 

On Friday evening, Mary Dikoff, Ashlee and Caitlyn of Mitchell, Tim and Lisa Zandt and Lexy of Renner, Jessica and Julie Van Sickle and Sena Seifel and friend, Tyler all of Watertown and Marcia and Sarah Montgomery attended the Watertown Lighted Parade later Helen Van Sickle joined the group for supper out in Watertown.

 

Barb Hartley and Myrna Brenden attended a bridal shower in Hazel Saturday afternoon honoring Lucy Rider.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger attended the Watertown lighted parade on Friday evening. Tierra Rhody returned to Henry with the Geigers and returned to her Clear Lake home on Sunday.

 

Thanksgiving Day dinner guests at the Danny and Bonita Sharp home were Betty Keyes, Clark, Arlene Sharp and Troy and Nicky Watson and girls. Additional supper guests were Brian, Pam and Tasha Hull of Tulare.

 

Joan Warnock was a Saturday afternoon visitor of Marcia Montgomery.

 

Tom Kos and Beth Ricalefs of Omaha and Terry and Judy Kos attended the Lighted Parade in Watertown on Friday and later were supper guests at the Brian and Kathy DeJong home. Additional guests at the DeJong home in celebration of Kayla DeJong’s birthday were Gary and Sue DeJong and Kurt and Ramona Kaiser of Clear Lake, Bob and Heather DeJong of Elkton, and Bret and Karen Henricks and family of rural Waverly.

 

Thanksgiving supper guests at the Tom and Myrna Brenden home were Mavis Brenden, Al, Dawn and Bryan Koch, John, Chelsey and Connor Wiik all of Watertown, Leslie Brenden, Zachery and Allison Grygiel of Florence and Jared and Dylan Brenden and Nathan Douridas of Henry.

 

Randy Rakness of Watertown called at the Floyd and Donna Kittelson home on Monday evening.

 

Cooper and Skylar Stern, children of Nathan and Alex Stern were baptized during Sunday morning services at the Henry United Methodist Church. Cole Fischer of Watertown and Cassandra Stern of Mitchell were sponsors for the baptism.  Following the church service, Ron and Linda Stern hosted dinner for Alex Stern and children, Cole Fischer, Janna Fischer, Terry Fischer and Merlyn and Fern Goetsch all of Watertown, Cassandra Stern and Brian Varilek of Mitchell and Lois Stern of Clark.

 

Mark and Arlet Soderlund have returned to their Henry home after spending time in St. Paul where Arlet sought treatment at the VA hospital. While there they also spent Thanksgiving at the home of Arlet’s mother, Leona Wicklander along with Arlet’s brothers and sisters.

 

Gary and Tondi Schoepp and boys arrived Thursday evening at the Calvin and Lois Schoepp home and returned to their Chanhassen, MN home on Sunday.

 

Matt and Missy Bastian returned to their Milbank home on Saturday after spending Friday evening at the Ron and Peggy Bastian home.

 

Dale and Teresa Peterson and Issabelle Winnett were Thursday evening supper guests at the Roger and Bonnie Jankord home. Additional guests were Ricky and Ryan Peterson, Kori Peterson and Mike Burbach and three daughters all of Garden City and Kasey Peterson and son from North Dakota.

 

Enjoying Thanksgiving dinner at the Tom and Kathy Wookey home in Clark were, Dave and Jackie McNeil and family of Warner, Bryan and Cindy Wientjes and boys and Joy and Gayle Wookey of Clark, Rick and Vickie Burchatz and family of Lake Pelican, Mike and Cheryl Hovde and family, rural Vienna and Floyd and Donna Kittelson.

 

Thanksgiving dinner guests of Rodger and Diann Redmond were Glenn and Mary McRoden of Watertown, Randall Fitzgerald and Lisa Martenson of Aberdeen, Dave, Carissa and Maria Quale of Volga, Dennis and Barb Martenson and Pat and Irene Redmond.

 

Wendell and Alice Bruns and Ashley Bruns visited Violet Winemiller on Thanksgiving morning at the Wookey Assistant Living Center in Clark.

 

Thanksgiving Day dinner guests at the Terry and Judy Kos home were Tom Kos and Beth Ricalefs of Omaha, Brian and Kathy DeJong and family of Watertown and Bret and Karen Henricks and family of rural Waverly.

 

Ron, Clay, Eric and Emily Bastian were Sunday dinner guests at the Tim and Jennifer Johnson home.

 

Dave and Jackie McNeil and family of Warner were Thursday evening overnight guests at the Floyd and Donna Kittelson home.

 

Ben and Ashley Johnson of rural Thomas hosted Thanksgiving dinner for Ronnie and Jennifer Briggs and family, Heidi Johnson, Scott Halling, Jenna Johnson, Breanne and Kaleb Bjerke, Becca Bjerke, Bob Tubbs all of Watertown, Agnes Opdahl, of Hayti, Rene Anderson, Bismarck ND, Jeff and Jamie Schaack and family and Cokey Johnson. Tim and Jennifer Johnson, Paul and Tess called later in the afternoon.

 

Don and Monica Keyes of Blaine, MN, Kyle Keyes and a friend of Minneapolis, Cecelia Brownell, Joe and Nicole Sharp and Bonita Sharp assisted Betty Keyes in her move to the Wookey apartments in Clark. Dawn Brush of Aberdeen and Louis and Joyce Brush of Clark and Ray and Marcia Hamner of Wheaton, MN stopped by and enjoyed coffee with the group. In the evening, Don and Monica Keyes, Kyle Keyes and friend, Bonita Sharp and Joe and Nicole Sharp and Betty Keyes enjoyed supper out in Clark.

 

Thanksgiving Day guests at the Don and Rose McElroy home were Dave, Becky, Mara and Brenna McElroy of Sioux Falls, Bob McElroy of Waterloo, IA, Brian Nicholson and Pattie McElroy of Pinckney, MI.

 

David Winnett, son of Cody and Sara Winnett was treated to a birthday party on Saturday at Tun O Fun in Watertown. Those helping to celebrate were Cody and Sara Winnett, Mankato, MN, Charlie, Nikki and Alex Heustess, Mikayla VanDeVier and Jo Fox all of Watertown and Dale and Teresa Peterson and Shania and Issabelle Winnett of Henry.

 

Theresa Joens of Minneapolis, Lindy and Lesa Swedeen and family of Watertown and Arlen Swedeen were Thanksgiving Day guests at the Boyd Joens home.  Arlen Swedeen also called at the Joens home on Sunday afternoon.

 

Floyd and Donna Kittelson and Ron and Sharon Burchatz were among family members that attended the JC sponsored Snow Festival at the DD Miller auditorium in Watertown on Saturday evening. Their granddaughter, Kayla Burchatz, daughter of Rick and Vickie Burchatz was one of the Junior Queen candidates.

 

Sunday dinner guests at the Ryan and Lindsey Martenson home in Aberdeen included Dennis and Barb Martenson and Pat and Irene Redmond.

 

Kayla DeJong of Watertown spent Wednesday and Wednesday night at the home of her grandparents, Terry and Judy Kos.

 

Thanksgiving dinner guests at the Calvin and Lois Schoepp home were Kevin and Linda Schoepp and Diane York of Watertown, Stacy York and friend of Sioux Falls, Tracy Overby of Moorhead, MN, and Tom and Karen Miller and girls, Iroquois.

 

Don and Ruth Roe were Sunday evening supper guests at the Floyd and Donna Kittelson home.
