Kos attended visitation on Friday evening in Milbank for his aunt, Lillie
Bergman. On Saturday, he and Judy attended the funeral in Strandburg.
Arlen,
Joan and Stephanie Boehnke enjoyed Sunday dinner in
Henry with Terry and Ruth Boehnke of Watertown.
Stephanie
Nelson of Sallisaw, OK
and Maury, Shannon and Sean Perla of Sioux Falls were Sunday visitors and supper
guests at the Joan Warnock home.
Cokey Johnson visited her mother, Aggie Opdahl
on Sunday at her Hayti home.
Don
Keyes of Blaine, Minnesota was a Tuesday evening supper guest
at the Danny and Bonita Sharp home.
Alyssa
Rhody of Clear
Lake, Roxanne Geiger, Toni and Hayley Goodall spent Monday in Aberdeen.
Mark
Oachs, Mankato, MN, Paul Caldwell and Tom Kos
of Omaha, NE
arrived Thursday at the Terry Kos home. They enjoyed several days of hunting.
John Henricks of rural Waverly came on Saturday and
joined the group. They all returned to
their homes on Sunday.
Danny
and Bonita Sharp called on Betty Keyes at her Clark
home on Thursday evening.
Wendell
Bruns visited his mother, Violet Winemiller
at Wookey’s Assistant Living in Clark
on Tuesday and Sunday.
On
Friday morning, Wendell and Alice Bruns
drove to Lake Norden and picked up their son, Ashley Bruns, they went on to Lake Preston and picked up
granddaughter, Erin Bruns and to Mitchell to get
granddaughter, Amber Bruns. The girls and Ashley
spent the weekend with the Bruns in Henry. Wendell
and Alice Bruns
returned the girls and Ashley
to their homes on Sunday.
Kelby, Toni and Hayley Goodall
and Fain and Roxanne Geiger enjoyed supper out in Henry on Thursday evening.
Chuck
and Debbie Engels of Watertown,
Wendell and Alice Bruns,
Dale and Diane Kludt and Wally and Rita Hoch of the Henry United Methodist Church
joined members of the Kellerton and Hazel Methodist
churches for a potluck “Road Kill Dinner” dinner at the Community Center in
Hazel on Sunday.
On
Saturday afternoon, Lois Schoepp called on Lola
Alexander and Harold Nipe at Wookey’s
Assistant Living in Clark.
Kim
and Deb Jorgenson and Dusty and Brook Jorgenson and family of Watertown, David
and Sylvia Drake of Revillo, Glen and Roxy Goodall of Aberdeen, David
and Jody Ulschmid of Volga, Earl, Alyssa and Tierra Rhody of Clear Lake, Fain and Roxanne Geiger and Al Benck helped Hayley Goodall celebrate her second birthday at the home of her
parents, Kelby and Toni Goodall
on Saturday.
Fain
and Roxanne Geiger returned Tierra Rhody to her Clear
Lake home on Sunday after she had spent Saturday evening at the Geiger home.
Ken
Barton of Atoka, OK and Stephanie Nelson of Sallisaw, OK were Wednesday evening
supper guests at the Joan Warnock
home.
Donna
Kittelson was a Saturday afternoon and supper guest at the Bryan and Cindy
Wientjes home in Clark.
Myron
and Diane Eidsness
and Kailey attended the All State Concert in Rapid City on Saturday
evening. En route home they stopped in Murdo and
visited with former Henry resident, Elizabeth Prahl
Larson and Trampass and family.
Henry
students participating in All State Chorus at Rapid City were Laura Eidsness,
Blair Larson, Tommy Mino and Aaron Thompson.
Virgil
Bastian and Ronnie and Peggy Bastian went to DeSmet
on Saturday afternoon and watched the basketball scrimmage between Dakota
Wesleyan of Mitchell and Presentation College of Aberdeen. Emily Bastian is a member of the Dakota
Wesleyan basketball team.
Donna,
Samantha and Sarah Bruns of Watertown were Saturday afternoon visitors at
the Wendell and Alice Bruns
home.
Dorothy
Paulsen was a Sunday evening supper guest at the Calvin and Lois Schoepp home.
The
St. John’s
Circle of St. Henry’s Catholic Church met on Thursday afternoon at the home of DeDe Dylla with Bonnie Smith as
hostess. Other members present were Louise Frost, Donna Kittelson, Ethel Dylla, Joyce Smith, and Coral Joens.
The ladies discussed the results of the Hunter’s Day Dinner. Their next meeting will be November 19th
following church services and they will have their annual Christmas exchange.
