The Henry United Methodist Women met at Roma Rawlins’s home in Clark on Wednesday evening. Marcia Montgomery was chosen to be the new president replacing Deb Engels. The November meeting will be at the church with Joan Warnock as hostess.

 

Terry and Judy Kos attended the Garden City Methodist Church supper on Friday evening.

 

Mark Luvaas, son of Ken and Sally Luvaas has been deployed with the South Dakota Air Guard to Southwest Asia.

 

Donna Kittelson attended the Watertown High School Senior Chorus and Orchestra, “Fall Preview” on Monday evening and watched her grandchildren, Kayla and Jordan Burchatz perform.

 

CeCelia Brownell and Bonita Sharp were Saturday morning visitors at the Betty Keyes home in Clark.  They all enjoyed lunch out together in Clark.

 

Gary and Tondi Schoepp and boys of Chanhassen, MN spent from Thursday until Sunday at the Calvin Schoepp home.

 

Louis Gortmaker and Allen Odden of Miller were Tuesday visitors of Roxanne Geiger.

 

Marrion Geiger was treated to supper out on Saturday night in honor of his 75th birthday by Chad and Lisa Purintun.  Also attending were LeDene Geiger, Lynn Geiger, Fain and Roxanne Geiger, Kelby, Toni and Hayley Goodall, Anthony, Kellie and Matthew Purintun all from Henry, and Earl, Alyssa and Tierra Rhody from Clear Lake.

 

John, Hope and John Kenneth Jr. Luvaas of Mequon, WI arrived at the Ken Luvaas home on Friday and returned to their home on Sunday. Additional Saturday guests at the Luvaas home were Barb Erickson, of Watertown, Lauretta Luvaas of rural Bradley, Russell Luvaas of rural Willow Lake, Cate Baumberger of Sioux Falls and Jessica and Madelynn Luvaas of Lennox. All of the Luvaas families and Cate enjoyed a few hours Saturday at the Lauretta Luvaas farm near Bradley.  Additional visitors to the farm were Glen, Clara, and Nathan Luvaas of Bradley and Stephanie Luvaas of Groton. John and Hope Luvaas also enjoyed visiting Calvary Lutheran Church at rural Bradley, the place of the wedding ceremony.

 

Although temperatures were well below normal, the opening weekend of hunting season proved to be quite successful for most hunters.

 

Donna Kittelson attended the Watertown Arrow and Brandon Valley football game on Thursday evening.

 

Hayley Goodall spent Wednesday with her Grandmother, Roxanne Geiger.  Kelby and Toni Goodall were additional supper guests at the Fain and Roxanne Geiger home.

 

Danny and Bonita Sharp were Sunday dinner guests at the Joe and Nicole Sharp home.

 

Jack and Marilyn Henning of Watertown were Sunday evening visitors at the Terry Kos home after attending the Catholic supper at St. Henry’s Church.

 

Lois Schoepp and Tondi Schoepp attended the Vienna Poultry Party on Saturday evening.

 

Donna Kittelson attended the Clark volleyball game on Friday evening in which Stephanie and Bridget Wookey part took.

 

John and Hope Luvaas of WI, Cate Baumberger of Sioux Falls, Jessica and Madelynn Luvaas of Lennox and Ken and Sally Luvaas visited Levi Luvaas at Wookey Assisted Living in Clark Saturday evening.

 

Terry and Judy Kos were Monday evening supper guests at the John and Joanne Berglund home in South Shore.

 

Rod and Cheri Jans helped celebrate Heath Hemmingson’s third birthday on Friday evening at the home of his parents, Aaron and Connie Hemmingson rural Clark.

 

Clay Bastian of Minneapolis spent the weekend at the home of his parents, Ronnie and Peggy Bastian.

 

Don Keyes, Blaine, MN, Mike Hansen and friend, Berry of Colorado, Gary Hansen of Chatfield, MN and Harold and Jeanette Hansen of Watertown were Monday evening supper guests at the Gordon and Loydeen Van Sickle home.
