Terry and Judy Kos attended committal services for Geneva Anderson at LaBolt on Friday afternoon.  Previous to the committal, they visited Lillie Bergman at the Milbank hospital.

 

Ronnie and Peggy Bastian assisted Emily Bastian with her move to Dakota Wesleyan College in Mitchell on Friday.

 

Joe, Nicole and Karli Sharp, Troy, Nicky, Trinity and Taylor Watson and Danny and Bonita Sharp attended the wedding, reception and dance of Marcia Stanley and Raye Hamner on Saturday in Watertown.

 

Hayley Goodall spent Wednesday with her grandmother, Roxanne Geiger.

 

Jill Flood of Hazel accompanied Donna Kittelson to the visitation for Geraldine Kayes at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bryant on Thursday afternoon.

 

John and Jean Reineccius of Redfield were Tuesday evening visitors of Arlen Swedeen.

 

Don and Rose McElroy visited Dale McElroy at his home in Sioux Falls on Thursday.  They also visited Harold and Mary Ann Benson of Sioux Falls before returning home.

 

Thursday evening Myron and Diane Eidsness and girls attended the Welcome Back to School Picnic in Henry and toured the new school rooms.  Former Henry teacher Jane Green was also in attendance and signed her new book, “Plain Jane’s’ Misadventures.”

 

Helen Van Sickle hosted a going away pizza supper for Sena Seifel at her Watertown home on Tuesday evening. Bob and Julie Van Sickle, Todd Page and family and Linda Page of Watertown, Monty, Marcia, Andrew and Sarah Montgomery and Gordon and Loydeen Van Sickle were in attendance.  Sena will be attending SDSU in Brookings.

 

Karen and Liz Henricks of rural Waverly, Kathy DeJong of Watertown and Judy Kos met Pam Rorvik-Albers of Flandreau for lunch on Saturday in Watertown.

 

Monty, Marcia, Andrew and Sarah Montgomery and Gordon and Loydeen Van Sickle were among those attending the Veteran’s Memorial Dedication in Watertown on Saturday.  Monty raised the flag at the dedication.

 

Calvin and Lois Schoepp were among those celebrating Dylan Mitchell’s birthday with a Sunday dinner at the home of his mother, Steph Raasch on Sunday.

 

Don and Rose McElroy spent Saturday in Sioux Falls where they visited at the home of Dave, Becky and Mara McElroy..

 

Don and Monica Keyes of Blaine, MN, Betty Keyes, Clark, Bonita Sharp and Joe, Nicole and Karli enjoyed breakfast together in Henry before church on Sunday morning.  In the afternoon, Don and Monica Keyes, Betty Keyes and Bonita Sharp toured Cecelia Brownell’s new home in Henry.

 

On Friday evening, Diane Eidsness and her sister, Janet Wren of Clark attended First Premier Bankcard’s party at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.

 

Doris Coyle and Lucy Hoftiezer of Watertown enjoyed dinner together in Watertown before attending the Veteran’s Memorial Dedication with Veryl and Sandy Hoftiezer.

 

Arlen Swedeen accompanied Bill Pickles and Rick Walford to Madison on Sunday where they attended the Thrashing Bee.

 

Maggie Hovde of Vienna spent Friday through Sunday at the Floyd and Donna Kittelson home.

 

Tierra Rhody of Clear Lake spent Saturday evening at the home of her grandparents, Fain and Roxanne Geiger. After a Sunday afternoon of fishing at Lake Pelican, the Geigers returned Tierra to her Clear Lake home.

 

Monty and Marcia Montgomery and Gordon and Loydeen Van Sickle attended the wedding dance for Raye and Marcia Hamner in Watertown on Saturday evening.
