Laura Eidsness and Stephanie Boehnke are spending this week representing Henry High
School at the YBA Conference in Yankton.
Donna Kittelson attended Cody Wookey’s baseball game in Watertown on Tuesday evening.
Hayley Goodall spent Monday with her grandmother, Roxanne Geiger.
Cody, Sara and David Winnett of Mankato, MN visited at
the Dale and Teresa Peterson home after attending the Strohfus/Leedahl
wedding in Fargo.
Wes and Betty Holida of Naples were Sunday evening visitors of Arlen Swedeen.
Lois Schoepp and Doris Coyle attended
the 90th birthday celebration for Lola Alexander Saturday at Wookey’s Assistant Living in Clark.
Tom Kos of Omaha,
NE spent the weekend at the home
of his parents, Terry and Judy Kos.
Joan Boehnke treated her summer reading
students at Fordham Colony to a Storybook
Land field trip in Aberdeen on Friday.
Mark, Jessica and Madelynn Luvaas of Lennox were
weekend guests at the home of his parents, Ken and Sally Luvaas.
Donna Kittelson took in the WASK
Tournament of Champions in Watertown
on Wednesday and Thursday. Jordan Burchatz
participated on the basketball team that won their division. On Wednesday
evening Donna attended Bridget Wookey of Clark
softball game in Watertown.
Myron Eidsness and Kailey
attended the South Dakota State Hershey Track and Field Event on Saturday in Rapid City. Kailey placed 2nd in the 800 run for ages 13 and
14.
Earl, Alyssa and Tierra Rhody of Clear Lake, Kelby and Toni Goodall and Fain
and Roxanne Geiger attended the Crystal Springs Rodeo near Clear Lake
on Friday evening. On the Saturday afternoon they attended the rodeo parade in Clear Lake.
Deb and Josh Letourneau attended the graduation of her daughter,
Nikki from Southwest Oregon Community College
at Coos Bay, Oregon this past week. Nikki is a 2004
graduate of Henry
High School completed a
bookkeeping course.
On Sunday, Mark Luvaas of Lennox and
Russell Luvaas enjoyed an afternoon of riding
motorcycle throughout the Willow
Lake, Henry and DeSmet areas.
Fain and Roxanne Geiger and Ken and Sally Luvaas
enjoyed supper out in Watertown
on Saturday evening.
Joan Boehnke treated Ruth Boehnke to lunch in Watertown
on Monday for an early birthday celebration.
Nikki and Alec Heustess of Watertown, Cody, Sara and David Winnett
of Mankato, MN and Issabelle Winnett enjoyed supper out in Henry with Dale Peterson on
Saturday evening.
Donna Kittelson visited Lucy Strohfus at Jenkins
Living Center
in Watertown on
Thursday afternoon. In the evening Donna watched Kayla Burchatz
play softball.
Rodger and Diann Redmond spent the
weekend in Sioux Falls
and watched their son, Matt participate in a softball tournament. The PrairieWave/Angus Palm team, in which Matt is a member
received third place.
Amber Bruns of Mitchell and Erin Bruns of Lake
Preston spent the weekend
with their grandparents, Wendell and Alice Bruns.
Ashley Bruns came on Saturday and Sunday morning to
spend time with his daughters. Samantha Bruns
of Watertown
came to spend time on Sunday visiting with her cousins.
Terry and Judy Kos enjoyed a potluck dinner at the Community
Center in South Shore with relatives on Sunday.
Fain and Roxanne Geiger visited at the home of Roxanne’s parents,
Louie and Mardella Gortmaker
at Miller on Sunday. They also enjoyed visiting with Norman and Janice Battest of Barstow, California and Darrell and Shirley Tiff of Forest Falls, California.
Calvin and Lois Schoepp visited with
Morris and Eleanor Van Sickle at their Watertown
home on Sunday.
Barb and Jenna Hartley attended the wedding of Andréa Strohfus and Brock Leedahl in Fargo last Friday
evening.
Renee and Katie O’Neill and Carol O’Neill attended a shower for
Lisa O’Neill in Watertown
on Saturday. Later they were guests at the Kylie Steen home in Watertown.
Wes and Betty Holida of Naples, Dale and Teresa Peterson and Bonnie
and Kristi Jankard attended
a birthday party for their brother, Rick Peterson at Garden City on Friday
evening.
Kathy, Cody and Steph Wookey and Taylor Schmidt of Clark
were Friday overnight guests at the Floyd and Donna Kittelson
home. On Saturday Donna accompanied them to the 3on3 Basketball Hoop Fest in Watertown in which Steph Wookey played.
The Henry United Methodist Women met at the church on Wednesday
evening with Marcia Montgomery as hostess and Deb Engels presenting the
lesson. The next meeting will be at the home Alice Bruns.
Joan Warnock and Doris Coyle were Sunday afternoon visitors at the
home of Veryl and
Sandy Hoftiezer in Watertown.
Rod, Cherie and Taylor Jans attended the
Murray-Hoffman reunion at Lake
