Connor and Adam DeJong of Watertown spent Thursday at the home of their grandparents, Terry and Judy Kos. They returned to their home with Brian and Kayla DeJong following supper.

 

Ron and Peggy Bastian were among those from Henry that attended the auction sale of former Henry resident, Violet Robinson at Lake Kampeska.  Violet will be moving to Indiana.

 

The Old Cottonwood Tree on Main Street is again surrounded this summer with beautiful flowers. Coral Joens and Alice Bruns planted the flowers and are busy keeping them watered.

 

Kelby, Toni and Hayley Goodall, Fain Geiger and Chad and Lisa Purintun and family were Monday dinner guests at the home of Marrion and LeDene Geiger.

 

Dave, Carissa and Maria Quale of Volga, Mary McRoden of Watertown and Irene Redmond spent Wednesday in Sioux Falls.

 

Dorothy Paulsen was a Monday evening supper guest at the Calvin and Lois Schoepp home.

 

Cooper Stern of Watertown spent Saturday with his grandparents, Ron and Linda Stern.

 

Steve Coyle of Watertown called on his mother, Doris Coyle Friday afternoon and wished her a happy birthday.  In the evening, Veryl and Sandy Hoftiezer of Watertown treated her to supper.

 

Donna Selin and daughters of Minneapolis called on Arlen Swedeen Wednesday

 

Wendell and Alice Bruns joined Harlan and Mary Bruns and their grandson, Riley of Bruce for supper out at Lake Poinsett on Friday evening.

 

Ardy Hahn visited Donna Kittelson Thursday afternoon.

 

Danny and Bonita Sharp and Joe, Nicole and Karli Sharp spent the weekend camping at Memorial Park. Troy, Nicky and Trinity Watson spent Saturday with the families.

 

Wendell Bruns called on his mother, Violet Winemiller at Wookey Memorial Assisted Living Center in Clark on Wednesday.

 

Doris Coyle and Calvin and Lois Schoepp took dinner to the Morris and Eleanor Van Sickle home on Sunday.

 

Barb Hartley attended the funeral for Max Nelson last Thursday in Watertown and the burial at Graceland Cemetery.

 

Louis Gortmaker of Mitchell surprised his daughter, Roxanne Geiger and called on her Tuesday.

 

Irene Redmond attended a jewelry party at the home of Glenda Kittelson on Saturday.

 

Ron, Peggy and Emily Bastian attended the Elite 15 Banquet that was held Saturday evening at the Ramkota Convention Center in Sioux Falls. Emily was one of the 15 basketball players within the state nominated for this award.

 

John and Chelsey (Brenden) Wiik of Watertown presented the check from money raised by the Watertown radio stations to the Children’s Miracle Network on Sunday during KELO-Land fund raising effort.

 

Tierra Rhody of Clear Lake and Hayley Goodall spent Wednesday with their grandmother, Roxanne Geiger. Tierra stayed with her grandparents until Friday.

 

Doris Coyle visited at the Veryl and Sandy Hoftiezer home in Watertown on Saturday afternoon.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger were supper guests on Monday evening at the home of Kelby and Toni Geiger.

 

Barb Martenson and Irene Redmond attended a bridal shower for Andrea Strohfus on Sunday afternoon at the Community Center.

 

Doris Coyle called on Joan Warnock Monday afternoon.  Later in the afternoon, Cherie Jans and Stephanie Nelson were coffee guests at the Warnock home.

 

Ryan Verelk and Cassandra Stern of Mitchell spent the weekend at the Ron and Linda Stern home.

 

Jennifer Johnson called on Marjorie Nelson Saturday evening.

 

Wesley and Betty Holida of Naples were Friday evening visitors of Arlen Swedeen.
