Terry and Judy Kos visited Lillie Bergman at St. William’s Nursing Home in Milbank on Saturday afternoon.  Later they attended the graduation reception for Scott Henricks at his rural Watertown home.

 

Arlen, John and Stephanie Boehnke joined Joan at Fordham Colony Friday afternoon and evening for the end-of-the school picnic.

 

Irene Redmond attended funeral services for a cousin, Francis Devine at Hayti on Tuesday.

 

Hayley Goodall spent Monday with her grandmother, Roxanne Geiger.

 

Betty Keyes of Clark, Rita Hoch and Bonita Sharp enjoyed dinner out in Henry after church on Sunday. Later Betty and Bonita visited at the Joe Sharp home.

 

 Sunday afternoon Calvin and Lois Schoepp attended the 50th wedding anniversary of Don and Joyce Oleson at the home of the Oleson’s daughter, Brian and Sandy Peterson at Hayti.

 

Gordy Van Sickle returned to his home on Saturday after undergoing major surgery at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown.

 

Tim, Lori and Austin Page attended the graduation reception for Alex Page on Saturday.  Alex is the son of Tom and Peg Page and graduated from Brookings High School.

 

Ken and Sally Luvaas drove to Sioux Falls on Saturday and met Mark and Madelynn Luvaas. Together they drove to Mason City, Iowa where they met Sally’s mother, Beryl Arbogast. Sally’s sister and husband, Craig and Mary Miller, nieces, Cassie Monson and Amy Medlin and her husband and son, Brent and Wyatt joined them for dinner.  Beryl Arbogast returned home with Ken and Sally and will be spending a week at their home.

 

Ron and Peggy Bastian spent several days last week at the home of their son, Clay Bastian in Kansas City, MO. From there they drove to Spearfish to watch Emily participate in the South Dakota State Track meet. They returned to their home in Henry on Saturday.

 

Roxanne Geiger was a Tuesday afternoon visitor of Sally Luvaas.

 

Lori Page, Cheri Jans and Terry and Judy Kos were among those from Henry that attended Bob and Alma Bauman’s 50th anniversary in Clark on Sunday afternoon.

 

Gordy and Loydeen Van Sickle and Sauna Lane and family attended the graduation reception for Sena Seifel, daughter of Burt and the late Jeannie Seifel, in Watertown on Saturday afternoon.

 

Joan and Stephanie Boehnke went to Aberdeen Saturday afternoon to decorate the graves of Joan’s parents and grandparents.

 

Sunday afternoon Calvin and Lois Schoepp visited Morris Van Sickle who is a temporary patient at Jenkins Living Center in Watertown.

 

Sauna Lane and family and Gordy and Loydeen Van Sickle attended the graduation reception for Jessica Van Sickle, daughter of Bob and Lisa Van Sickle on Sunday afternoon in Watertown.

 

Irene Redmond attended the reception for Watertown graduate, Brian Stormo on Saturday.

 

Laura Eidsness and Stephanie Boehnke are attending Girl’s State at Vermillion this week.

 

Sunday evening supper guests at the Danny and Bonita Sharp home were Troy, Nicky and Trinity Watson and Joe, Nicole and Karli Sharp. The families celebrated Nicky’s birthday.

 

Tim, Lori and Austin Page attended the graduation reception for Mitchell German in Watertown on Sunday afternoon.

 

Pam Albers and Erica Rorvik of Flandreau and David Rorvik of Watertown were Saturday afternoon visitors at the Gordon and Loydeen Van Sickle home.

 

Al and Gwen Benck, Kelby, Toni and Hayley Goodall and Fain and Roxanne Geiger spent the Memorial Day weekend camping at Lake Pelican.

 

Paul and Renee Myrick of Brandon were Monday luncheon guests and afternoon visitors at the Terry and Judy Kos home.

 

Weekend guests at the Veryl and Sandy Hoftiezer home in Watertown were Rita Krentz and Kelly Stanton and girls of Bassett, Nebraska, and Jody Melander and girls of Valentine, Nebraska and Doris Coyle.  Additional visitors were Steven Coyle, Brad and Abby Coyle and family, Brenda German and family, Nat and Jackie Lake and Elizabeth and Rick and Jackson Hoftiezer all of Watertown.

 

After spending Thursday in Aberdeen, Floyd and Donna Kittelson were supper guests at the Dave and Jackie McNeil home at Warner.

 

Saturday evening visitors at the Don Roe home in Hazel included, Phyllis Kittelson of Watertown, Bob and Betty Nelson, DesMoines,IA, Albert Kittelson, Gilbert and Joan Kittelson and Floyd and Donna Kittelson.

 

Donna Kittelson and her daughters, Vicky Burchatz, Watertown, Jackie McNeil, Warner, Cheryl Hovde, Vienna, Kathy Wookey and Cindy Wientjes of Clark, spent their yearly weekend together in Fargo. The ladies enjoyed shopping and dining Sunday and Monday.
