Byron Schneider of Watertown and Joel Montgomery attended the Midwest division of the Marine Corps League in Des Moines, IA this past weekend.

 

Terry and Judy Kos attended the Garrison Keillor, A Prairie Home Companion Show at the Dakota Dome in Vermillion on Saturday evening.  They returned to Sioux Falls and spent the evening.

 

Doris Coyle was a Saturday overnight guest at the Veryl and Sandy Hoftiezer home in Watertown.

 

Dianne Easthouse, Deb Hallauer, Steph Raasch and Peggy Bastian participated in the state bowling tournament in Sioux Falls over the weekend.

 

Calvin and Lois Schoepp were Sunday evening visitors at the Rod and Cherie Jans home.

 

Myron Eidsness was among those that attended the Patty Kittelson and Keith Anderson wedding on Saturday.

 

Bonita Sharp and Betty Keyes of Clark attended the Farm –City Ladies Breakfast in Clark on Saturday morning.

 

Myrna Brenden attended the Florence school Spring Concert on Thursday evening in which her grandchildren, Zachery and Allison Grygiel took part.

 

Harland and Mary Bruns of rural Bruce were Saturday luncheon guests and afternoon visitors at the Wendell and Alice Bruns home.

 

On Sunday afternoon, Doris Coyle visited her sister, Lola Alexander and also Lucy Hoftiezer who are both patients at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown.

 

Marcia Stanley of Watertown, Arlene Keyes and Betty Keyes of Clark and Bonita Sharp enjoyed lunch out in Clark on Saturday.

 

Linda Page and Helen Van Sickle of Watertown along with Marcia, Sarah and Andrew Montgomery attended the Henry Elementary School Spring Concert on Friday evening. Later in the evening they were joined at the Montgomery home by Gordon and Loydeen Van Sickle and CaLeigh and Macey Lane.

 

Diane Eidsness spent Friday night and Saturday in Sioux Falls at the home of Carl and Eevi Prahl.

 

Floyd and Donna Kittelson attended the Anderson-Kittelson wedding on Saturday afternoon at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. They also attended the reception that was held at the church and the dance that followed in Henry.

 

Students of the Henry Elementary School attended the South Dakota State University Theatre production of School House Rock:Live on Thursday at Doner Auditorium on the campus of SDSU in Brookings. The play brings back to life the classic early ‘70s cartoon “Schoolhouse Rock.”

 

Tim and Lori Page enjoyed the Spring Concert at the Henry School on Friday evening.

 

Calvin and Lois Schoepp attended the BarberShop Quartet concert that was held in Watertown Saturday evening.

 

Dick O’Neill has returned from a recent vacation trip to Ireland. The Cliffs or Mor and Dublin were among some of the highlights of his trip.

 

The Henry kindergarten class took part in the Arbor Day observance at the Henry Park on Friday. They helped plant a Mancana Ash tree at the park.

 

Donna Kittelson spent several days this week at the Dave and Jackie McNeil home in Warner.

 

Ryan, Lindsey and Grace Martenson of Redfield, Dave, Carissa and Marie Quale of Volga, Lisa Martenson of Aberdeen and Pat and Irene Redmond were Sunday evening supper guests at the Dennis and Barb Martenson home.  Ryan Martenson has recently accepted a position with Farm Credit Services in Aberdeen. They will be moving to Aberdeen when housing is found.

 

Cokey Johnson and Paul Johnson attended the first communion for Alex Briggs, son of Ron and Jennifer Briggs at the Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown on Sunday.  Following the services they were luncheon guests at the Rick and Lisa  Borkhuis home in Watertown.

 

Darla (Kludt) Kannas, a 1988 graduate of Henry High School, was among the graduates of Mount Marty College in Watertown on Friday evening. Darla and her husband, Terry and family reside in Watertown.

 

Roxanne Geiger was a Wednesday afternoon visitor of Sally Luvaas.
