Judy Kos attended funeral services for Elmer Hedman at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in South Shore on Tuesday.

 

Roxanne Geiger called on Sally Luvaas Monday afternoon.

 

Doris Coyle was a Tuesday coffee guest at the Joan Warnock home.

 

Joan and Stephanie Boehnke were among the several friends and relatives that attended the baby shower for Connor Wiik, son of John and Chelsey Wiik on Saturday morning at the Henry Community Center.

 

Arlene Sharp, Joe, Nicole and Karli Sharp, Troy, Nicky and Trinity Watson and Danny and Bonita Sharp enjoyed supper out in Henry on Saturday evening.

 

Morris and Eleanor Van Sickle of Watertown and Calvin and Lois Schoepp enjoyed a trip to Milbank on Sunday enjoying dinner out and touring the city.

 

Kathy McMillian enjoyed Wednesday coffee at Joan Warnock’s home.

 

Floyd and Donna Kittelson watched some of the Willie Mac basketball games in Watertown this past weekend that  grandson Jordan Burchatz took part in.

 

Terry and Judy Kos were Sunday dinner guests at the Bret and Karen Henricks home. Additional dinner relatives attending were Lyle and Bev Henricks, Alen and Debbie Henricks and family all of rural Waverly and Kathy DeJong and family of Watertown.  The families celebrated Elizabeth Henricks’ thirteenth birthday.

 

Adam Page, a student at SDSU in Brooking spent Friday and Saturday at the home of his parents, Tim and Lori Page.

 

Bob Dewar and Betty, Fain and Roxanne Geiger and Kelby and Toni Goodall enjoyed supper out in Henry Tuesday evening.

 

Joan and Stephanie Boehnke were among those that attended the bridal shower for Laurie LaBarr, which was held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church on Saturday afternoon.  Joan and Diane Redmond were the hostesses for the shower.

 

 Barb Hartley attended funeral services for Frances Posner in Watertown Saturday afternoon.

 

Arlen Swedeen was a Sunday afternoon visitor at the LeRay Swedeen home.

 

Betty Keyes of Clark and Bonita Sharp enjoyed lunch out on Sunday following church services. In the afternoon they called on Nicole and Karli Sharp. Nicky and Trinity Watson were also afternoon callers at the Sharp home.

 

Marcia Montgomery called on Joan Warnock on Thursday.

 

Tim, Lori and Austin Page were Sunday dinner guests at the Dick and Barb Brownell home in Watertown.

 

Mark Soderlund had the recent misfortune of totaling his pickup truck en route home from a medical appointment in Sioux Falls. His car was side swiped by a car that caused him to go into a spin and roll several times before coming to a stop on its wheels. He was wearing his seat belt and was not seriously hurt. The driver of the other car failed to stop.

 

Lois Schoepp attended the Lenten Services in Watertown on Wednesday at noon.

 

Doris Coyle visited Sandy Hoftiezer in Watertown on Sunday.

 

Wendell and Alice Bruns have returned from a vacation trip to Florida. En route they enjoyed driving through The Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky and seeing the daffodils growing in the ditches and the azalea bushes. They then went on to see the Ruby Falls cave at Chattanooga, Tennessee and driving further took them to Moultree, Georgia to spend time with an air force buddy and his wife, Don and Claudia Tilman. Later they spent time at Wild West Adventure Park in Valosta, Georgia.  On the return trip they visited the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga. They then went up to Illinois and spent time with Alice’s sister, Trudy Mitchell and her husband, Tom in Roseville, Illinois. Also on the way home they visited Alice’s brother Dave and wife, Linda Johnson at New London, Iowa. They also stopped in Metropolis, IL at the casino boat.

 

Anna Hartley of Garden City, Adam, Laci, Brodie and Aubrie Hartley were Sunday supper guests at the Lynn and Barb Hartley home.

 

Rick, Vicky and Jordan Burchatz were Friday evening visitors at the Floyd and Donna Kittelson home.

 

Monty and Marcia Montgomery attended the Willie Mac basketball tournament games this past weekend. Andrew Montgomery was a member of the Henry team that participated in the tournament.

 

Ryan, Lindsey and Grace Martenson of Redfield, Dave, Carissa and Maria Quale and Joe Martenson of Volga, Lisa Martenson of Aberdeen and Pat and Irene Redmond celebrated the thirtieth wedding anniversary of Dennis and Barb Martenson with dinner at the Martenson home on Sunday.

 

Jack and Marilyn Henning called at the Terry and Judy Kos home on Saturday afternoon.

 

Kelby and Toni Goodall and Fain and Roxanne Geiger joined LeDene and Lynn Geiger for supper in Henry on Friday evening.
