Lynore Calder has recovered from her recent surgery and is in AZ attending the wedding of her youngest son, Michael Heustess to Judy Dela Vaga.

 

The Henry United Methodist Women met on Wednesday evening at the home of Kim Vache.  Bonita Sharp gave the lesson on “Holy Habits worthy of developing during Lent.” The ladies made final plans for Focus Day to be held at the Henry Methodist Church on April 1, 2006. Joan Warnock will host the April meeting.

 

Cody, Sara and David Winnett of Mankato, MN spent the weekend with families in the area and helped celebrate Dale Peterson’s birthday.

 

Arlen Swedeen attended a birthday party for Christian Swedeen at the Watertown home of Lindy and Lesa Swedeen on Tuesday evening.

 

Lois Schoepp attended Lenten Services and Luncheon Wednesday noon at the Congregational Church in Watertown.

 

Monty and Andrew Montgomery and Gordon Van Sickle attended the Pro Pheasant Banquet in Watertown on Friday evening.

 

Vicky Burchatz of Watertown accompanied Floyd and Donna Kittelson to Omaha, Nebraska on Monday where Floyd underwent auditory surgery at the Methodist Hospital. They returned to their homes on Tuesday.

 

Kaitlyn Nelson, a former Henry High School student recently underwent knee surgery in Ft. Smith, AR and is recovering at her home during her Spring Break from her Oklahoma High School.

 

Kayla and Adam DeJong spent Saturday at the home of their grandparents, Terry and Judy Kos while their parents attended the Regional Wrestling Meet in Aberdeen. Brian, Kathy and Connor DeJong returned to Henry in the evening and had supper at the Kos home. They all returned to Watertown later in the evening.

 

On Saturday evening, Joan and Arlen Boehnke were among several couples that were treated to supper out in Henry by Kurt and Dory Gassman.

 

Loydeen Van Sickle was a Sunday afternoon visitor at the home of Doris Coyle.

 

Barb Hartley accompanied Anna Hartley to a birthday party in Clark on Sunday honoring Lorraine Kelly.  They also called on Marcella Loomis at the Clark Care Center and Ethan and Darlene Audus.

 

Alec Heustess of Watertown and Dale and Teresa Peterson attended a birthday party for Dale’s uncle, Norm Aker in Watertown on Sunday.

 

Jack and Marilyn Henning of Watertown and Terry and Judy Kos enjoyed breakfast out together following Sunday morning church services.

 

Diane York of Watertown and Calvin and Lois Schoepp had dinner out on Sunday in Watertown.

 

Vicky Burchatz was a Friday luncheon guest of Donna Kittelson.

 

Arlen Swedeen was a Sunday afternoon visitor at the LeRay Swedeen home.

 

Bonita Sharp enjoyed lunch out on Thursday with Marcia Stanley of Watertown.

 

Linda Page of Watertown bought supper to Marcia and Sarah Montgomery on Friday evening.  Later in the evening, Marlene Rider, Helen Van Sickle and Marie Dally stopped by the Montgomery home to visit.

 

On Thursday evening, Chad and Lisa Purintun and Fain and Roxanne Geiger enjoyed supper out together. Kelby and Toni Goodall joined the families later for a time of visiting.

 

The Henry High School Chorus participated in the Whetstone Valley Choral Festival in Sisseton on Monday.

 

Pat and Irene Redmond, Barb Martenson and Rodger and Diane Redmond spent Wednesday in Fargo.

 

Earl, Alyssa, and Tierra Rhody of Clear Lake, Kelby, Toni and Hayley Goodall and Fain and Roxanne Geiger enjoyed supper out together in Henry on Friday evening.

 

Pat and Irene Redmond called on Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Watters in Castlewood on Thursday.

 

Craig and Sharon Palmer of Dawson, MN were Sunday evening visitors at the Fain and Roxanne Geiger home.
