Terry and Judy Kos attended the South Dakota
Electrical Council Planning Committee meeting in Brookings Tuesday evening.
Alice Bruns traveled to Huron on Friday and picked
up Amber Bruns of Sturgis and brought her to Willow Lake to spend the weekend
with her father, Ashley and Shirley Bruns. On Saturday Wendell and Alice
enjoyed lunch at the Ashley Bruns home.
Tim and Lori Page invited several friends to their
home for home made ice cream following the ball game on Friday evening. Those
enjoying the special treat were Coach and Mrs. Dekker and family of Clark, Mr.
and Mrs. Dennis Dekker, Parkston, Guy and Melissa Fish and Breanne, Monty and
Marcia Montgomery and family, and Rodger and Diane Redmond and Matt.
Donna Kittelson accompanied Rick and Vicky Burchatz
to the Watertown Arrow and Marshall, MN basketball game on Monday evening.
Danny and Bonita Sharp were last Monday coffee
guests at the Betty Keyes home in Clark.
Harold and Jeanette Hansen of Watertown were also callers.
Calvin and Lois Schoepp were Sunday afternoon
visitors at the Marv and Joyce McGillivary home.
Monty and Marcia Montgomery returned Wednesday after
spending a week in Hawaii. The trip was an incentive trip sponsored by Sukup
Manufacturing.
Hayley Goodall spent Wednesday at the Fain Geiger
home. They were joined for supper by Hayley’s parents, Kelby and Toni Goodall.
The Henry United Methodist Women met at the home of
Diane Kludt on Wednesday evening. There
were seven members present and Judy Kos presented the lesson. Bonita Sharp will host the February meeting.
Donna Kittelson watched her granddaughters Steph and
Bridgett Wookey play basketball in Clark on Tuesday against Castlewood.
Several friends and relatives attended the
visitation and funeral service for Carol Rider this past week. Carol and Marlene Rider were long time
residents of Henry before moving to the Hazel area and then later to Watertown.
Wendell Bruns called on his mother, Violet
Winemiller at Wookey’s Assistant Living in Clark on Sunday morning.
Floyd Kittelson, along with Tom, Kathy and Steph
Wookey of Clark drove to Aberdeen on Thursday evening and watched the
Clark/Roncalli boy’s basketball game.
Mark Grasse of Aberdeen accompanied them to the game. In the afternoon,
Donna Kittelson watched the Clark Elementary basketball game against Willow
Lake.
Doris Coyle was a Sunday afternoon caller at the
Veryl and Sandy Hoftiezer home in Watertown. Later the ladies visited at the
Nathan and Jackie Lake home also in Watertown.
Mike Hartley of Clark, Peggy and Emily Bastian and
Renee O’Neill attended the George Strait concert in Fargo on Saturday. They returned to their homes on Sunday
afternoon.
Floyd and Donna Kittelson attended the
Watertown/Brandon Valley game on Friday evening.
The Eastern Coteau Boy’s Basketball tournament
dominated the majority of the week for the Henry people. Grant Deuel won the tournament. Henry was
victorious on Saturday afternoon.
Kelby, Toni and Hayley Goodall were Saturday evening
callers at the Fain and Roxanne Geiger home.
Karli Sharp spent the weekend at the home of her
grandparents, Danny and Bonita Sharp.
Monty, Marcia, Andrew and Sarah Montgomery joined
Helen Van Sickle and Linda Page of Watertown for supper out in Henry on
Saturday evening.
Rick, Vicky and Jordan Burchatz along with Donna
Kittelson watched Kayla Burchatz play basketball on Saturday against the
Aberdeen Middle School.
