Birth Announcement:  A daughter, Maria Irene Quale was born at 3:34 p.m., December 27, 2005 to Dave and  Carissa Quale of Volga. Maria weighed 9 lbs. and was 20 inches long. Grandparents are Dennis and Barb Martenson, Henry and Jeff and Kathy Quale of Summit.  Great grandparents are Pat and Irene Redmond of Henry, Leo and Myrene Gaikowski, Webster and Jim and Shirley Limberg of Marietta, MN.

 

 

Terry and Judy Kos met Ron Kleinsasser of Reliance in Huron on Wednesday evening and had supper.

 

Joan Warnock spent a few days this past week with her son, Stephan Baxter and his family near Storm Lake, IA. Stephan returned Joan to her home on Thursday and remained over night in Henry before returning to his home on Friday.

 

Nicole Sharp, Nicky Watson and Bonita Sharp met Marcia Stanley of Watertown for lunch on Friday.

 

Tim, Lori and Austin Page spent Wednesday at the home of Lori’s sister, Leonard and Shari Alberts at Andover. The Pages were among those that helped Leonard celebrate a birthday.

 

The Geiger families celebrated their Christmas together this past Saturday at the Henry Community Center.

 

Enjoying noon lunch together Tuesday in Watertown were Phyllis Kittelson, Watertown, Mr. and Mrs. Don Roe, Hazel, Albert and Gail Kittelson, Gilbert and Joan Kittelson and Floyd and Donna Kittelson.

 

John and Chelsey Wiik of Watertown and Raymond Biberdorf were New Year’s Day dinner guests at the home of Tom and Myrna Brenden.

 

Myron and Diane Eidsness and girls were New Year’s Eve guests of Janet Wren in Clark Saturday evening.

 

Wendell Bruns visited with his mother, Violet Winemiller at Wookey’s Assistant Living in Clark on Thursday and again on Sunday.

 

New Year’s Eve supper guests at the Terry and Judy Kos home were Harold and Jeanette Hansen, Paul and Laurel McElhany and Jack and Marilyn Henning all of Watertown and Calvin and Lois Schoepp.

 

Kathy McMillan joined Wendell and Alice Bruns for supper out in Henry on New Year’s Eve.

 

Carissa and Maria Quale of Volga are spending this week at the home of her parents, Dennis and Barb Martenson.

 

 Randy Hartley and Sherry Koska of Watertown, Lynn and Barb Hartley, Aubrie Hartley and Jenna Hartley were New Year’s Day supper guests at the rural Garden City home of Anna Hartley.

 

Tim and Lori Page and family hosted the annual Page Christmas on Monday at their rural Henry home. Those attending were Ron and Kelly German and family and Lila Page of Watertown, Dave and Denise Page and family, Milbank, Kirby and Jane Page and family, Iroquois, Tom and Peggy Page and family of Brookings.

 

Karli Sharp and Trinity Watson spent part of Saturday and evening with their grandparents, Danny and Bonita Sharp while their parents, Joe and Nicole Sharp and Troy and Nicky Watson enjoyed New Year’s Eve dinner out.

 

Calvin and Lois Schoepp were Sunday evening visitors at the home of Doris Coyle.

 

Tim and Lori Page were New Year’s Eve supper guests at the Dave and Brenda Ingalls home in Watertown.

 

Rod and Cherie Jans were New Year’s Eve guests at the rural Clark home of Aaron and Connie Hemmingson.

 

Fain and Roxanne Geiger were New Year’s Eve guests at the Ken and Sally Luvaas home.

 

Rose Johnson, and Debbie and Josh LeTourneau celebrated Christmas at the LeRoy Hallauer home in Castlewood.

 

New Year’s Day supper guests at the Dennis and Barb Martenson home were Tena Westling, Alcestor, Lea Schelski, Watertown, Ryan, Lindsey and Grace Martenson, Redfield, Dave, Carissa and Maria Quale, Volga, Lisa Martenson, Joe Martenson and Pat and Irene Redmond.

 

Supper guests on New Year’s Eve at the Don Roe home in Hazel were Phyllis Kittelson and Verley McNamara, Watertown, Albert and Gail Kittelson, and Kelsey Heemeyer, and Floyd and Donna Kittelson.

 

Joel and Marcia Montgomery joined friends and relatives for New Year’s Eve dinner in Henry following the Henry/Tulare basketball game at Tulare.
