Thorsten Nowak -1993

<thorstenbutke@gmx.de> Thorsten was the first exchange student in Henry back in 1991/92. He was a Junior which would put him in the graduating class of 1993. Thorsten stayed with Albert & Gail Kittelson. He returned to Germany, graduated from high school and finished university as an MBA with specialization in computer science and information system design. In August 2002 Thorsten married Bianca and also changed his name back to Thorsten Butke. He was known as Thorsten Nowak while attending Henry School. Thorsten & his wife reside in Germany.

I couldn`t finish my senior year bucause I had to come to colombia to finish my degree in business administration, college couldn't wait for another six months so I came back to my country on Dec 31st 1994, attended Henry high school for the first semester. It would be great to have some sort of conection to the class of 1995 on the web site.

I am still employed with the Interior Distance Education of Alaska program but am now in their Student Records department. I am also going to be attending the University of Alaska - Fairbanks this Fall to finish my major in English. 9 credits and a full-time job … we'll see how I do. I have a Little Brother now through the Big Brother Big Sisters program … his name is Christian and he's 10.

I am living Watertown with my husband Mike and our 2 kids Laney(5) and Nicholas(2).

I am working at Jenkins Living Center as a CNA and Trainer and also attending Lake Area Tech in the Computer Programming department.
